SEDONA AZ TO THE SOUTH RIM! VIA GRAND CANYON RAILWAY-WILLIAMS, AZ-EP44
While in Sedona AZ we road the Grand Canyon Railway train to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
The 1.5 hr drive to Williams AZ had to happen in the early am, because our train boarded at 9am sharp!
We took the bus excursion at the canyon that included lunch. If we could do it over again, with the limited time at the canyon, I would take the bus excursion WITHOUT lunch included.
We were on the Mary Coulter Luxury Parlor Train at $226/each.We would pick this same car again.

Rancho Sedona RV Park Tour
June 11, 2016 Get more of our stuff at
In this video, we take you on a tour of the Rancho Sedona RV Park in Sedona, AZ.

I would like to see them update their technology so you can book a spot online. They don't make that part easy. You have to actually call them...on the phone...and talk to someone...how 1970's! :) The other way, if you live outside of the US is to fill out a form.
C'mon Rancho Sedona, time to let technology into your lives!

Trip to Sedona Arizona, Scenic Red Rock Drive Through Village of Oak Creek
Trip to Sedona AZ. on 02/16/2013
This was sort of a valentine's day get away, unfortunately it was not a couples trip. Our 3 year old Son had to come. Stayed at the Kings Ransom Hotel, it wasn't the Four Seasons, But for $120 U.S. dollars on a Saturday night you can't expect much. All in All the room was nice and clean, with a King size bed and a Pull out Sofa bed. T our surprise The Kings Ransom Hotel has a very Famous restaurant, called Elotes, managed by a world class, famous Chef. I don't know who he is,but his food was good, Not the best Mexican food I have ever had, but good.
The most enjoyable part of the trip for me was driving trough the very nice scenery and driving one of our BMW's. ON this trip I enjoyed driving my wife's 525i E60. On the video you can hear some rattling noises, but those were not coming from the car, they were from the Dash Cam mount, I'm going to have to get rid of it and get me a GoPro..
Sorry for the poor video quality, it was filmed with my I-Phone
Also in the background you can hear my Son Emiliano getting busy with his Nexus 7 Tablet, playing all his games and watching movies.
Thanks for watching

01. Red Rock State Park
A state park featuring a red sandstone canyon outside the city of Sedona. The main mission of this day-use park is the preservation of the riparian habitat along Oak Creek. Serves as an environmental education facility for the public and for school or private groups, and provides limited passive recreational opportunities.
02. Oak Creek Canyon
A river gorge located in northern Arizona between the cities of Flagstaff and Sedona. The canyon is often described as a smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon because of its scenic beauty. About 12 miles (19 km) long, ranging in width from 0.8 to 2.5 miles (1.3 to 4.0 km). The depth of the canyon ranges from 800 to 2,000 feet (240 to 610 m).
03. Slide Rock State Park
A state park of Arizona, USA, taking its name from a natural water slide formed by the slippery bed of Oak Creek. There are three hiking trails in Slide Rock State Park: Pendley Homestead Trail (.25 miles), Slide Rock Route (.3 miles), and Clifftop Nature Trail (.25). Slide Rock State Park attracted 254,584 visitors in 2005 and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Arizona.
04. Chapel of the Holy Cross
A Roman Catholic chapel built into the buttes of Sedona, Arizona, run by the Diocese of Phoenix, as a part of St. John Vianney Parish in Sedona. In 2007, Arizonans voted the Chapel to be one of the Seven Man-Made Wonders of Arizona, and it is also the site of one of the so-called Sedona vortices.
05. Cathedral Rock
A famous landmark on the Sedona. One of the most-photographed sights in Arizona. Is carved from the Permian Schnebly Hill formation, a redbed sandstone formed from coastal sand dunes near the shoreline of the ancient Pedregosa Sea. Ripple marks are prominent along the lower Cathedral Rock trail, and a black basalt dike may be seen in the first saddle.
06. Bell Rock
A butte, composed of horizontally bedded sedimentary rock of the Permian Supai Formation. A popular tourist attraction just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona. Has an elevation at its summit of 4,919 feet (1,499 m).
07. Honanki
A cliff dwelling and rock art site located in the Coconino National Forest. The Sinagua people of the Ancient Pueblo Peoples, and ancestors of the Hopi people, lived here from about 1100 to 1300 CE. Was one of the largest prehistoric pueblos in the Verde Valley.
08. Courthouse Butte
A butte just north of the Village of Oak Creek. Geologically, Courthouse Butte is composed of horizontally bedded sedimentary rock of the Permian Supai Formation. Summit elevation is 5,440 feet (1,660 m).

Sedona Arizona | The Most Beautiful Place on Earth?
The city of Sedona, Arizona claims to be The Most Beautiful Place on Earth, and we just had to check it out for ourselves.
Sedona is located about 2 hours North of the Phoenix, Arizona area and has a slightly cooler climate than most of its desert neighbors. It is a land of rustic red sandstone found nowhere else on Earth. Many people even claim that there are many Vortices (plural for vortex) surrounding the city area, and that draws a lot of spiritualists to the area.
Archaeologists believe that Sedona has been inhabited for up to 13,000 years by various tribes of people. Some even settled in the area permanently and build dwellings on the sides of the cliffs. You can visit some of those ancient ruins today.
In this video we set out to visit the following locations:
Downtown Sedona
Bell Rock
Red Rock State Park
Coconino National Forest
Honanki Ruins
Chapel on the Rock
Devil's Bridge
Amitabha Stupa Peace Park

Is the Sedona “Energy Vortex” real? | exploration • meditation • reflection
Sedona has a reputation for being a special place. It is said to be home to several energy vortexes (swirling centers of energy) that are conducive to healing, meditation and introspection. So are they real? In this video I explore and meditate at the Cathedral Rock vortex and give you my honest opinion on the power of this Sedona Vortex.
