Visit Sedona's Verde Valley Wineries | Sedona, Arizona
Desert climate and great wine may not sound synonymous, but don’t let your assumptions fool you! Arizona’s terroir (factors like climate, latitude and elevation) is perfect. The environment is similar to the best grape growing regions in the world, from California to France. At Javelina Leap, they explained the nutrient-rich but drier soil makes for great winemaking. The harder the vines work in the soil, the stronger and more resilient they become and the better the grape produced.
Sedona’s wine scene is a group of boutique wineries with beautiful vineyards and laid-back tastings rooms located in the Verde Valley - only 20 minutes from the city center. You can book a tour or adventure to the valley on your own as we did.

SEDONA AZ TROLLEY TOUR-DOWNTOWN SEDONA WALK THROUGH-EP37
We spent a week in Sedona, Az and LOVED this area! We will be back again, soon. One week here was not enough! Schedule 2 weeks here, and you will be glad you did.
We originally tried to stay in Rancho Sedona RV Park that is right in town, but are actually glad we were not able to get enough continuous days. We point out in the episode how close this RV park is to the downtown area. You will see that it is a tight campground for big rigs.
We ended up in the Distant Drums RV Resort campground, about 30 minutes (24 miles) outside of Sedona. It was a beautiful ride each time, so we did not mind it at all. The bonus was two fold. WAY cheaper and a heated pool and hot tub! Can't beat that!
We started our first day in Sedona by taking a trolly tour to get the lay of the land on Thanksgiving. We were surprised they were open and running a full schedule. But as we walked the busy streets, we noticed many people were speaking in foreign languages..... dah.... these vacationers don't celebrate Thanksgiving! American capitalism at its finest.
We had lots to explore in Sedona,.... and more videos are coming on just Sedona. We booked a full day private van and vortex energy tour and then a few days later, took a day trip train ride from Williams, AZ to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Subscribe and stay in touch to see that episode.

Camp Verde & Sedona
Left Williams solo, drove to Flagstaff, then ended up in Camp Verde. Also camped at Cottonwood before the rain, almost got stuck in the mud, and visited the gorgeous red rocks of Sedona. Living full time on the road (and currently unemployed) is so very different than what I am used to... I am used to routine and stability. I left my comfort zone long ago. So there is an adjustment mentally, emotionally. The waves of feelings are intense, the desire for my friends and family = HOME. I am learning to just ride the waves as they come to me. I am not trying to fight them or push them away. The tricky part is not letting yourself get locked into them. Don't let your mind control you. You are not your mind, you are not your thoughts. You are the awareness. Your job is just to observe. NAWMSAYIN?! =)

Grand Canyon, Arizona - The Sedona Bentley Run
Nothing better than getting to bring one of your best friends on a trip with you to do something they would never do. My friend Watts is deep in the art world and crushing it, but doesn't get to do these experiences too often. Wa salso amazing for me to bring someone along to remind me how lucky I am to be doing these types of trips but also how much I've manifested the world I now live in. Hard work has definitely paid off for both of us and doing stuff like this is just some great icing on the cake, but also business as usual.
Having never seen the Grand Canyon before, and getting to do it in a brand new 2019 Bentley GTC.....well what's better than that.
Arizona is a beautiful state, if you get a chance get out there and check it.
Thank you Bentley Motors for bringing us along!

Sedona Arizona Travel, The Red Rock Country
Please watch: Nature From Above I Dji Mavic Pro Footage

Visit Sedona Arizona Usa, The Red Rock Country.
Start with scenery that makes your heart leap. Sedona nestles among a geological wonderland. Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the high desert floor creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes hourly with the light. When USA Weekend compiled their Most Beautiful Places in America list, Sedona claimed the top spot.
Surrounded by 1.8 million acres of national forest land, visitors have instant access to recreational activities. Trails for hiking and biking, along with bouncy jeep tracks, weave among the bristling forest of pinnacles, spires, buttes and domes. Yet, you’re never far from the indulgences of town.
Sedona is equal parts rugged, equal parts resort. Regarded by Native Americans as sacred, Sedona continues to be recognized as a place of healing and spiritual renewal. Many come to experience the vortex energy centers of Sedona. Others want to prowl the 40-plus art galleries lining the streets, or to receive soothing treatments from the dozens of spa facilities. Most recently, with its nearby vineyards and tasting rooms, Sedona has emerged as a destination for wine enthusiasts.
All About Wine - Interview with Winemaker, Matt Raica of Arizona Stronghold Vineyards
Learn all about Arizona's expansive wine industry in this interview with professional winemaker, Matt Raica, of Arizona Stronghold Vineyards.
Many people are unaware that Arizona has over 100 wineries throughout the state, making it one of the larger wine regions in the United States. Arizona's unique climate and soil make it comparable to prime growing regions like Argentina, Italy, and France.
During the interview we also do a tasting of three wines from Arizona Stronghold.
Next time you are in Arizona, you will not want to miss the state's growing wine country.
Thank you to the Arizona Office of Tourism, Matt Raica, Carol Fox & Associates, and many others for helping make this interview happen.
