Over de Pacific High Way van Sawtell naar Suffolk Park onder de rook van Byron Bay. Met een koffiestop in het charmante Graffton met haar victoriaans aandoende centrum. Daarna via het schilderachtige Maclean langs/door uitgestrekte suikerrietplantages naar het haventje van Yamba voor een picknick. Verder over de high way tot Ballina om vandaar langs de Summerland Coast en via Lennox Head naar Suffolk Park. Daar zijn wij op een klein caravanpark terecht gekomen pal aan het Suffolk Beach.

We start on the main street and head toward the CBD and down to the river. Then loop around onto the bridge and to South Grafton main street. We then go back across the bridge, under the shopping mall and onto the main street and finish where we started.

The city of Grafton is the commercial hub of the Clarence River Valley. Established in 1851, Grafton features many historic buildings and tree-lined streets. It is located approximately 630 kilometres north of the New South Wales State capital, Sydney, 340 km south of Brisbane, Queensland with a population of 19,000. Grafton is known and promoted as the Jacaranda City, in reference to its tree-lined streets and to the annual Jacaranda Festival. Christ Church Cathedral, designed by John Horbury Hunt, was consecrated in 1884 .
