Day 2,10 December 2016.
Kuta, Bali.
After breakfast, we head to the mountains. Mount Batur, Kintamani. We did a quick stop in a Batik factory. By the time we reach Kintamani it was already lunch. Mount Batur was breathtaking...I love that we ate with the mountain in sight. I could stare at marvel at it for hours. There was such serenity and humility as you stare in awe at the sight.
After lunch, we visited a plantation nearby serving luwak coffee with a whole lot of other spices and plants. Volcano land is fertile land. I can say I sipped tea and coffee surrounded by greenery and mountains. It was great.
Being in Bali wouldn't be complete if you don't visit their temples. The land of a thousand temples, our guide would say. So we head over to Pura Tirtha Empul, temple of the holy springs, locals believe it to be the fountain of youth and bathing in its waters will rejuvenate and renew the senses. I have got to bring my bathing suit and jump in next time.
After the temple, we got entertained with 'tarian kecak' aka Fire Dance a performance rich with history, rituals and culture. Unlike its other daytime counterpart - barong dance, Fire Dance are only performed at night and has no accompanying gamelan music, relying solely on the vocal of the men presenting the performance.
Then we head to Jimbaran Bay for seafood dinner by the beach, perfect ending for the night.

Batik Clothing Factory, Coffee Plantation & Best To Buddha (Part 1/2) #INDONESIATRIP
This video will be in 2-parts. The next video will be us rafting and visiting the Monkey Forest in Ubud.
Today we visited the Batik clothing factory, here is how they make traditional Indonesian batik clothing, you can see how they handmade the clothing and you can even customize your own batik if you want too.
We also stopped at a coffee plantation Jambe Asri, where you are able to sample local blends. These included the prized Kopi Luwak, or beans that have been eaten by the civet cat, not-really-digested, then pooped out, collected up, cleaned, roasted and ground for our drinking pleasure.
and last but not least we went to the Best To Buddha factory. While this is not the official Buddha to Buddha factory, they make spot on replicas but are just not allowed to put the name on it anymore (so now you'll see Best to Buddha) after several factories went bust. The quality is exactly the same though, and you pay only 1/3 of the price.
