TOP 10 DON’TS WHEN CROSSING THE US AND CANADA BORDER
1. SHUT UP! PART 1.DON’T TRY TO BE FUNNY.
Border guards are not your friends, and it’s highly unlikely that they moonlight as talent scouts for comedy clubs. This is the wrong moment to make a buddy or tell jokes. Stay respectful and succinct and save the complaints for the drive away from the checkpoint.
2. SHUT UP! PART 2. DON’T DISCLOSE MORE THAN YOU’RE ASKED.
Answer all of the guard’s questions, but avoid getting chatty about your plans if you don’t have to. Thinking of catching up on some work on your laptop a little during your vacation, for example? Don’t mention that. There is no such thing as an American working holiday visa, although there are plenty of options for working holidays in Canada, or for Canadians travelling to other parts of the world. If you’re going to the U.S, however, best to say that your laptop is just for fantasy sports and YouTube. Planning a trip to propose to your girlfriend? Congratulations. But...
3. EVEN YOUR SEX LIFE MATTERS.DON’T MENTION THAT YOU’RE PLANNING TO MARRY A CITIZEN OR RESIDENT OF ANOTHER COUNTRY WHEN YOU’RE ENTERING IT.
Even if you’re in the middle of the appropriate application process, talking about your romantic attachments will not warm the hearts of the border guards and it will get you flagged as a potential risk for illegal immigration. This goes for crossing the US and Canadian border in either direction. Say that you’re visiting “a friend” and save the flaunting of your ring for the day when you’re married or your citizenship and residency information is fully settled.
4. DEVELOP A “CREATIVE VOCABULARY.”DON’T BE IN A RUSH TO EXPLAIN EVERY DETAIL ABOUT THE GOODS YOU’RE BRINGING WITH YOU, BUT KNOW THE RISKS OF INCOMPLETE DISCLOSURE
It can be mighty tempting to try to bring a few extra items back from your trip without declaring them. You can push the limits of the personal exemption (see above for the exact amounts), or you can declare the extras and pay the duties. If you’re pushing it, try to describe dollar values using words like “approximately,” “about,” or “around” if you’re just above the personal exemption limits. Remove the tags, and ditch the shopping bags and receipts. If you are searched and the agents find something that you haven’t declared, it’s most likely that you’ll be delayed and that you’ll have to pay the duty. Hey, people forget the things they buy all the time, right? Mistakes can happen. If you push it too far, however, and you get caught making a false declaration crossing to Canada, you might also have your goods seized or you might have to pay a penalty that’s an extra 25-80% of the goods’ value. The worst case scenario is that you’ll lose the goods permanently and have your vehicle impounded. You’ll also almost certainly find yourself subject to more intense scrutiny at future crossings. Getting caught with small amounts over the limit shouldn’t have lasting repercussions, unless you’re busted repeatedly. Now you know the risks. Govern yourself accordingly. Bonus tip: Never try to conceal anything you just bought at the duty-free shop. They take your name and license plate number and their database is coordinated with the border guards on each side, so lying in this case makes for a guaranteed delay. Don’t do it.
5. A CRIMINAL MIND, IT’S ALL I’VE EVER KNOWN.DON’T LIE ABOUT YOUR CRIMINAL PAST.
If you have run into legal trouble, check to see if it’s serious enough to prevent you from travelling. Each country has its own regulations on this, and most countries reserve the right to deny anyone the right to entry for any reason. If you are denied entry crossing from Canada to US, consider applying for a US Entry Waiver. If you are worried you can’t enter Canada from the US, consider getting a temporary resident permit. The process rules and process for both the US Entry Waiver and the TRP can be complicated and difficult, so you can always seek help.

THE YUKON, CANADA - PART 2
From hiking to beautiful viewpoints to walking around the world's smallest desert to catching the train to Alaska, there is so much to see and do in the Yukon.
While I was in the Yukon as a part of the Canadian tourist boards City Bloggers Programme, I really wanted to immerse myself in what makes this such a unique part of the country.
What I experienced was a place like no other in North America, one that so laid back with a raw natural beauty that's so rare to find these days. For me, I loved going on little hikes and ending up at an incredible viewpoint with lakes and mountains all around.
Also, I really enjoyed walking around the little village of Carcross, one of the few First Native tribes you can still find in Canada. And just on the edge of town is Carcross Desert, the world's smallest desert!
To finish things off, I also caught the train from Fraser in the Yukon to Skagway in Alaska , one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world taking you through the snowy mountains.
If you haven't seen it already, this is what I got up to in part 1 of my trip to the Yukon -

Skagway, Alaska Cruise Port Guide: White Pass & Yukon Route Railway
The White Pass and Yukon Route Railway is a popular attraction for cruise guests visiting Skagway, Alaska. Completed in 1900, the railroad was the primary means of transportation for prospectors travelling over the White Pass to the goldfields in the Yukon.
The “White Pass Summit Excursion” allows guests to ride in vintage-style passenger cars along the same route as gold prospectors of the past while seeing spectacular views, gold rush points of interest, and more. The narrated tour takes about two-and-a-half hours as the train travels forty miles round-trip to the White Pass summit at 2,888 feet in elevation.

Kluane National Park Icefield and Glacier Flight
See the Kluane National Park of Canada in the air with a one hour sightseeing flight over the Kaskawulsh, South Arm andLowell Glaciers. Home to Mount Logan the tallest mountain in all of Canada. On a sunny day if you are lucky you can even see Alaska. Located in Haines Junction a one hour and 40 minute drive from Whitehorse this is one of the best tours that you can do.
Unapologetically this video is just a lot of glacier eye candy and it was a turbulent flight so the footage is a bit shakey. But it's too stunning not to share.

--incalculable jaw drops at the beauty seen from along the ocean coastline to the snowy mountain ranges and backdoor views of towns and cities.
I can't recommend this enough! What an experience! What a way to see the country! The whole ride was smooth, quiet, and tranquil. Whether you enjoy a book in the glass-domed car while sipping on some coffee, or nurse a beer through the passing majesty outside your window, you are rocked gently into a relaxation that is unlike any other. The staff was ever ready to accommodate needs and/or wants. Guest speakers rode along, regaling passengers with tales of the flora, fauna, and history of the areas. Fellow passengers were in equal states of awe and wonder, evidenced by the acknowledging head tilts complete with twinkling eyes and hearty grins. Childhood fancy was stirred together with an aged appreciation and I found that though we were moving northward, time had stood still.
Note: Yes...I have since learned to refrain from filming in portrait mode, when using a phone. ????
Note: Thank you, all, who have clarified that it's a Lounge Car featured in this video, not an actual Parlour Car. I did not intend to mislead anyone; during our ride, the staff and fellow passengers were calling it the Parlour Car, and I was at fault for following the flock in my understanding. Our train's Parlour Car must have been undergoing maintenance, at the time. I did find, however, the Lounge Car to be quite enjoyable. Nevertheless, I imagine riding with an official Parlour Car would enhance the experience, greatly. Thank you all, for clarifying this, for me and for others.
Note: for mobile device viewers, annotations don't appear on-screen. At the 2:28 mark, it should be noted that There is a traditional door on this bathroom; it's just not visible, here.

2017 Canada Day Parade in Whitehorse, Yukon
I could have filmed this from one location, but the parade was so long and slow-moving, I decided to walk down 2nd Avenue to catch the whole parade in one go. Prepare yourself for a lot of shaky camera and backs of people's heads as move through and past the crowd. You might even hear an expletive every now and then.
Happy 150th, Canada!

WALKAWAY is a Saving Grace to Car Owners
WALKAWAY, a vehicle return policy, was there for Schnequa Pinkett when she lost her job and was unable to make her car payments. The wife and mother of two was able to return her car with no adverse effect on her credit. Hundreds of other car buyers opt for a vehicle return policy for the same protection. WALKAWAY has their back.
How is this Ninja 900R-powered custom trike even legal?!
What's up you guys?! So Adam's custom AMT3 Trike powered by a Kawasaki Ninja 900r motor has got to be the most insane vehicle I've ever driven on the street. It feels like it should be completely illegal, it's mind-bending fast, and it drives beautifully. The motorcycle engine revs to a staggering 12,000 RPM which, in a car, screams like an F1 car, I can assure you that. Adam built this custom tube frame, 3-wheeled vehicle at his machine shop in Vancouver, BC and has made it legal to drive on public roads. Enjoy!

RC CAR DRIVES ON POOL!!
I DROVE MY RC CAR ACROSS A SWIMMING POOL ON TOP OF THE WATER! CHECK OUT THIS EPIC VLOG!
???? EVERYDAY GIVEAWAY CONTEST ????
Today Carter Sharer and his brother Stephen Sharer and Lizzy Sharer (Sharer Fam) went to the backyard to try and drive an rc car on water. Carters Idea was to drive the fast remote control car across the pool and hydroplane. If this works it would be the worlds first ever rc car water skip on a pool. So Carter put a landing ramp in the pool so it can drive out of the pool if it makes it all the way across the swimming pool. Carter put the car down and gave it a try. He gave the car max throttle and the remote control car took off. It splashed into the water and started to drive on the water. It was water skipping and running on water. The rc car made it all the way across the pool and came out on the other side of the swimming pool. It was so amazing to see this rc truck ride on water like that. It was driving on the water in the pool and I couldn’t believe it. Comment #RCcar if you loved this vlog.
