This video was shot on 2 separate days in November 2009. Park-goers seem to take no care in keeping the place clean. Each morning, one would see the litter left behind by those who used the park for picnics, camping or barbeques. It is quite sad to see the amount and kind of litter cleaners have to clean up every morning.

There are plastic bags, bottles, wrappers and even picture frames carelessly discarded into the water and strewn on the beach.

Sembawang Hot Spring Park reopens

Sembawang Hot Spring Park, the only natural hot spring park in Singapore, reopened to the public on Saturday (Jan 4).
It boasts a cascading pool, cafe as well as a floral walk. The 1.1-hectare park was designed with feedback and suggestions from the public.

Sembawang Hot Spring Park Singapore. Newly reopened in Jan 2020.
It seems like you can't really boil eggs at the 70 degreeC Egg Cooking Station. I left my egg there for a long time with continuously running hot water to keep the water hot. But the end result was still a runny super soft egg.

Sun Plaza was developed as a joint venture between Koh Brothers and Heeton Holdings and was completed in May 2000. Like other suburban malls at that time, it had an Eng Wah cinema, an NTUC Fairprice supermarket, the Sembawang Public Library, the local post office, Kopitiam food court and 93 specialty shops. Above Sun Plaza are 2 7-storey tower blocks composed of 76 residential apartments, which were completed in 2001.

In 2009, the cinema was closed due to low patronage and was subsequently left vacant. The mall also suffered declining patronage too, due to competitions from Causeway Point, Northpoint, the then newly reopened Sembawang Shopping Centre and the lack of well known anchor tenants. As a result, some tenants started moving out, such as Popular bookstore being replaced by Gain City.

The mall underwent refurbishment works in 2014, when it was reclad with a new yellow exterior facade and a change in interior layout, as well as installation of outdoor escalators and alfresco dining spots. The vacant cinema premises was converted to educational use, with Level 4 housing a number of educational centres and the entirety of Level 5 housing the new Sembawang Public Library, having relocated from its original premises at Level 3. Basement 1 was expanded to include more food and beverage options, taking over the former car park space. The post office was relocated to the nearby Sembawang HDB branch office. Kopitiam was relocated to the other end of its original premises at Level 3 and the atrium was relocated to Level 2. The mall reopened in August 2015 with a net increased lettable area of 5772 sq ft and 103 speciality shops. In 2018, Hai Di Lao Hotpot opened in the mall, taking over the space vacated by children's department store Tom & Stefanie.

One and Only Nature's Hot Spring in Sembawang , Singapore / Yishun Hotspring

Singapore’s only natural hot spring park reopened on Saturday Jan. 4, 2020 and it's free for all.
The new Sembawang Hot Spring Park is open daily from 7am to 7pm.
It is accessible via Gambas Avenue and the nearest car park is at 114 Yishun Ring Road.
Some of the enhancements include a new F&B outlet, an activity lawn, and toilets.
An educational zone, an accessibility ramp, and more seating areas have also been added to the park.
The center piece of the park is a four-tier cascading pool with water from the hot spring, that has a seating area for visitors to enjoy a foot bath.
The nearest bus stop is located 400m away at Sembawang Road.

終於在今年，翻新重新開放啦！
Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園添加了全新的四層溫泉池，也加入了座位席，咖啡廳還有優化了更美的環境。

在三巴旺溫泉公園有提供大大小小的木桶子，但是週末人潮非常多，而且有許多都有漏水的問題，建議大家自己帶桶子到Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園。想在Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園煮溫泉蛋的朋友建議把雞蛋放在70˚的熱水中最少20分鐘，還有很重要——記得帶雞蛋！

Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園開放時間為早上7AM到旁晚7PM，入場免費。

怎麼去Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園：
搭MRT到Sembawang三巴旺的站，到對面馬路的公車站(Opp Sembawang Station)，建議乘搭858公車路程最短，搭六個站於Blk114車站下車，然後穿過馬路步行5分鐘就可以到達Sembawang Hot Spring Park 三巴旺溫泉公園。
