WRECK REMOVAL OPERATION OF M/V GOODFAITH, ANDROS, GREECE 28-9-2015
On February 10th, 2015, M/V GOODFAITH Bulk Carrier of LOA 168 meters, breadth 27 meters and 27308 tons DWT, amid severe weather run aground on the north coast of Andros. Our company “CHRISTOS XXII SPANOPOULOS TUGS M.C.”, member of Spanopoulos Group, was awarded with a Wreckstage Contract, in order to completely remove and safely dispose the vessel and any part associated with and / or emanating from the vessel of whatsoever nature to the satisfaction of the Principles and the Authorities.

My dear friends.Just because we are in a very cold winter in many countries around the world these days .Especially in Greece where we are not used to it and with so low temperatures of -20,-28 degrees celcious ,with so much snow, even in Athens,I decided to bring the Summertime with a video of mine filmed on a ship arriving in Andros island for Summer vacations with my family.We had such a great time. I also want to invite you all to visit my country's beautiful places.There are plenty of them.I hope you'll all enjoy this film.There is no plane in it but only blue clear Aegean Sea.Greetings to all of you.

Προσάραξη στην Άνδρο (Πλάνα από Super Puma)
Διάσωση Πληρώματος Φ/Γ Good Faith στην Άνδρο - 11/2/2015
Την Τετάρτη 11 Φεβρουαρίου 2015, φορτηγό (Φ/Γ) πλοίο με όνομα «GOODFAITH», σημαίας Κύπρου, με είκοσι δύο (22) άτομα πλήρωμα, προσάραξε στο βορειοδυτικό άκρο Άνδρου.
Η Πολεμική Αεροπορία συνέδραμε με τρία (3) ελικόπτερα Super Puma από την 112 Πτέρυγα Μάχης/Αεροπορική Βάση Ελευσίνας, την 130 Σμηναρχία Μάχης, στη Λήμνο και από τη Χίο, διασώζοντας δέκα οχτώ (18) μέλη του πληρώματος.
