Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine
Cool little shrine at the base of Mount Fuji. Apparently, many people start their climb of the mountain here. My favorite part was the little pond to the side of the shrine. Song is “Breath of Fresh Air“ by Gavin Clark.

同じ静岡市内にある久能山東照宮に引けをとらない立派な神社です。
How to get to Chureito pagoda (Arakurayama Sengen Shrine)
This is a short photomovie for travelers who wish to see the world famous beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji and a pagoda called Chureito. The best season for visiting is mid. April, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. These photos were taken April 18, 2015. Climbing about 400 steps to go to the top might be one of the most exciting parts of your journey!

Arakura Fuji Sengen Jinja, Chureito Pagoda, Japan - Canon 80D - Virtual Trip
The name of Arakura Fuji Sengen does not necessarily mean much to travelers, and yet the images of this temple with Mount Fuji in the background decorate all the guides on Japan. The epic image of the pagoda facing Mount Fuji very often serves to illustrate the exotic Japanese style. The Arashiyama bamboo plantation and the Fushimi Inari and its red toriis in Kyoto are known, the huge torii in the water at Miyajima near Hiroshima, but the Arakura Fuji Sengen Temple is less well known. It is actually found on google more often under the name of Chureito Pagoda, which means in fact the only pagoda that we see in all the photos.
Located in the region of Mount Fuji Five Lakes in Yamanashi Prefecture, his visit forces him to make a junction on the Tokyo - Kyoto axis.
Accessible from Shimoyoshida Station on Fujikyu Sen, it is best to go by bus from Kawaguchiko. If you have your luggage with you, there are plenty of lockers at Kawaguchiko Station. It's easier than going down to Shimoyoshida, visiting the temple, returning to the station, heading back to Kawaguchiko to see the lake etc. In addition, all the tourist buses but also the local buses leave Kawaguchiko and some pass among others by this temple. For a question of organization, it is therefore simpler.

2018 十国峠と三島スカイウオークからの富士(4K) Mt. Fuji At Jyukkoku Pass & Mishima Skywalk(UHD)
箱根の南、熱海から山側に登った伊豆半島の付根にある十国峠は、その標高766mの日金山の山頂から十国五島（伊豆・駿河・遠江・甲斐・信濃・武蔵・上総・下総・安房・相模、大島・新島・神津島・三宅島・利島]）を展望できるといわれる絶景の場所である。また、三島スカイウオークは2015年に三島市の山間に作られた観光用の吊り橋で歩行者専用の吊り橋としては大分県にある九重大橋を抜いて最長となった。富士山や駿河湾の眺望が素晴らしい。
Jyukkoku Pass is located at the south of Hakone and the mountain side of Atami hotspring. Jyukkoku means Jyu-Kok=Ten Countries.
It is said that from the top of Jyukkoku pass, ten Japanese ancient territories could be seen. That is the origin of the name.
Mishima Skywalk is a rope bridge for people's walking built in 2015.
It is a longest lope bridge in Japan for sightseeing purpose. From where we can have a very good view of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay.

Miho Matsubara is a pine tree forested area along the coast in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. I recently stopped by there for a stroll with my daughter one morning.
Sengen Shinto Shrine located near Oshino Eight Ponds.
God that this shrine is going to have, of course, is a protector of Mt. Fuji, Konohana Sakuya Hime.A shrine on display next to Oyashiro is interesting.It is shaped like Mount Fuji.

小さな旅・三島大社(Mishima Taisha)
2017.08.20(日) 箱根で一泊し、三島大社へ向けて出発しました。
箱根峠を三島へと下り、途中昨日訪れた三島スカイウォーク横を抜け、三島市と入り、三島大社へお参りしました。
その後、国道で沼津港へと新鮮な魚を食べに行きました。
食事を終え、東名沼津ICから入り、30分ほどの大和トンネル付近の事故渋滞がありましたが、東名料金所も首都高も渋滞もなく、スムーズに帰宅出来ました。

It is one of three Shinto shrines in Shizuoka forming a religious corporation. The primary kami of Sengen Jinja is the Konohanasakuya-hime, the deity of Mount Fuji.

From AC 951, it has been enshrined at Busho Toshima-gun Hitotsugimura. So it has more than a thousand year history.Over 100 years later from enshrinement, there was a drought in Kanto region. People prayed for rain and the prayer was answered. Afterwards, similar rituals have been held for the prevention of plagues or disasters at the shrine.
In the Edo period, when Yoshimune TOKUGAWA, the 8th seii tai shogun succeeded the shogunate in 1716, he commanded a member of the shogun's council of elders, Tadayuki MIZUNO to construct the current shrine building at the shrine’s current site in 1729. One year later, at 26 April 1730, the sacred symbol has been installed in the shrine building and at 28 April, the shogun visited the shrine directly.
Since then to Ieshige TOKUGAWA, the 14th seii tai shogun, the sealed letters from successive Shoguns (cultural properties designated by Minato Ward) have been issued to the shrine.
