Sennen Cove Beach
Sennen Cove Beach is Cornwall’s westerly surf hotspot. With the atlantic swell and the ginormous beach, Sennen Cove Beach is hugely popular and is the perfect place to relax in the sun. Sennen is only a small village with a fishing harbour however in the summer, Sennen becomes very busy due to the vast extent of sand. Although a popular spot so can get very crowded, Sennen’s friendly atmosphere makes for a relaxed day at the beach in one of the UK’s most breathtaking locations.
More about this beach:
• Dog friendly from September 30th - May 1st
• Pay and Display car parking either end of the town.
• RNLI Lifeguard cover (May 5th - 30th September)
• Surf hire available under the beach restaurant
Cafes, restaurants, bars and toilets available in the village 2 minutes away.
There are steps down from the carpark to the beach or you can walk down a slope. The access onto the beach is very easy and is suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Afternoon at Sennen Cove during Storm Imogen. Hard to hand-hold our little camera when it was difficult to even stand up! But exciting to be there with loads of other storm watchers. The sea really did turn pink at the end of the day.

Beautiful Unspoilt Picturesque fishing village of Sennen Cove and and the Beautiful Unspoilt Whitesand Bay This is one of Cornwall’s most popular beaches for families and watersport enthusiasts. The fabulous sands extend northwards from the village of Sennen Cove in the south to North Rocks where at low tide the sands join up with those of Gwynver beach forming a huge crescent around Whitesand Bay. Surfing and bass fishing are major attractions and some spectacular wildlife, such as dolphins, may be seen close to the beach. Sennen Cove is the nearest village to Land's End. An excellent sandy beach extends for a mile, becoming wilder and more dangerous at the northern end. Very popular with surfers

Not only is the scenery at Lands End steeped in natural beauty, Land’s End, with its rugged wave battered cliffs, is the most westerly point in mainland England and the most visited outdoor tourist attraction in Cornwall From the spectacular granite cliffs, on a clear day, the Isles of Scilly can be seen lying on that horizon. The cliffs at Land's End stand 200 feet above crashing waves, though the cliffs tumble down to nearly nothing at the furthest point of land. Land's End has been the centre of Cornish legends. Around the point from Land's End is Sennen, where a very popular beach draws visitors in search of sun and sand.
Land's End is a headland and holiday complex in western Cornwall, England. It is the most westerly point of mainland Cornwall and England, situated within the Penwith peninsula about eight miles west-south-west of Penzance The cliffs at Land's End stand 200 feet above crashing waves, though the cliffs tumble down to nearly nothing at the furthest point of land. Land's End has been the centre of Cornish legends. Some tales tell that the lost land of Lyonesse - a sort of British version of Atlantis - lies beneath the sea, and even that the spires of churches can be seen poking up from the ocean floor if conditions are right. Sailor's tales say that the sound of bells beneath the waves can be heard. Lyonesse was also said to be the lost Camelot of King Arthur legend. Around the point from Land's End is Sennen, where a very popular beach draws visitors in search of sun and sand.
Holy well of Saint Levan - II Holy well. Probably C18 on an ancient site. Granite rubble. Roughly square-on-plan roofless well house with east doorway, all built on a granite monolithic foundation stone. In front of the doorway is a sump and the water comes from a natural spring covered by granite lintels on the right. Scheduled Ancient
Porth Chapel beach is idyllically set below tall granite cliffs, with sands of broken shells dipping to the sea – it’s just a short walk from St Levan, tucked between Porthcurno and Porthgwarra and quite near to Land’s End.
Penberth Cove is still primarily a tiny fishing hamlet. There is a pebble beach. A river flows down through the wooded Penberth Valley into the cove
The Minack Theatre is Cornwall's world famous open-air theatre, carved into the granite cliff and set in glorious gardens overlooking the spectacular panorama of Porthcurno Bay. The. A woman called Rowena Cade designed the incredible theatre and undertook a lot of the building and decoration herself. In the summer of 1932,

Sennen Cove - Cornwall
Sennen Cove is a small coastal village in Cornwall UK. It overlooks the southern end of Whitesand Bay, and is on a spur road which joins the A30 trunk road, about two miles (3 km) from Land's End.
Sennen Cove is the first village from Land's End along the north coast. The road descends gently for about 300 yards and then steeply for another 300 yards to the village. Within, there are a few dozen houses built primarily of granite and some of concrete, arranged mainly in terraces, typical of many of the villages in Cornwall. This short video records our stay there in 2015.
