Travel to Seoraksan / Sokcho, South Korea
This video is a compilation of the two trips I took to Seoraksan and Sokcho in the Summer and Fall. Sokcho is one of two cities in Korea where Pokemon Go is available. When the news broke of Pokemon Go release in Sokcho, many people flocked there to play.
Recently, my friends visited in Korea so I decide to take them to Seoraksan to show them the mountain range since they are hiking enthusiasts. One of them sprained her ankle a couple of days prior so we opted for the cable car instead. I will add a link below for more info about the cable car, Seoraksan and Sokcho.

My Day Trip From Seoul to Sokcho | Korea Vlog
For Buddha's birthday, I took a day trip from Seoul to Sokcho to soak up some sun! Sokcho is a beach town on Korea's east coast and is now more accessible than ever thanks to the new KTX line (that didnt exist when I took the bus there haha!) It's a really gorgeous town and a great day trip from Seoul!

Autel Evo Free LUTs: Sokcho, South Korea
In this video I played around a bit with the free LUTs offered as a download by Autel for the Evo. There are eight LUTs in all, with various coloration styles that provide options when editing videos, especially when shooting in LOG. In this video I started out shooting in Log format, which gives a very flat, blah appearance to the video, but it yields exceptional dynamic range. I flew right at dusk, just as the lights were coming on in the city. At the time, there was a typhoon tearing up Tokyo, Japan just a few hundred miles to the east. I applied Evo LUT #5, which gave a very dark, somber tone to the video, very appropriate for a storm theme. For the second half of the video I simply shot it in vivid color format with no LUT.
Seoraksan's Fall Colors - Steve Miller's EYE #7 [Canon EOS C100]
Seoraksan National Park is located about 30 minutes outside of Sokcho in Korea's North Eastern Gangwon Provence. It was the nation's first national park, founded in 1970 and my personal pick for one of the best places to view some spectacular fall colors. In fact, the colors are so amazing I go back every year.
During the peak color change weekend thousands of visitors will travel to this mountain park. It can create quite the bottleneck in the parking lot and on the trails, but on our visit, we were lucky. Since the weather patterns were a little off, the published peak weekend was one week earlier than when it really arrived, so when Jo and I visited, we were able to take in the fall spender with only a fraction of the visitors the preceding week.
Hundreds of trees line the walkway from the parking lot, making it one of the favorite places for families to gather and snap photos. The brilliant red, gold, and amber leaves appeared even brighter on this sunny day against its bright, blue sky. The ever-present smiles indicated that all who came knew they were witnessing magic and let their inner child come out to play.
Before setting off on our hike, we visited Sinheungsa. It's a temple located near the start of many hiking trails in the park. It's iconic giant Buddha sits facing the mountain peaks. When visiting the temple in the fall, the colors make the statue pop.
Since we were in the park, it was time to do a little hiking. We opted to take the trail to Bisandae, a relatively flat, one hour hike through the forest canopy that afforded use some great views and foliage. Of all the hikes in the park, this one is probably most suited for all ages for its ease.
Along the way, we couldn't help but to stop and take photos and video of all the beautiful leaves we saw. Even though we come here each year, it was like seeing it for the first time. We weren't the only ones having a good time either. Couples especially enjoyed their time among the changing colors.
With the hike completed, we returned to the mountain's base and grabbed a quick bit to eat before jumping onto a cable car (W9,000) and heading to the top of the mountain. Cars depart every 5 minutes, so be sure to get a ticket early. The assent provided some breathtaking views of the valley, but we weren't finished yet.
A short trail from the cable car area leads the peak and can be reached in about fifteen minutes. It's an easy climb, but does require using ropes and traversing a rocky slope. However, once you're on top, the panoramic view is awesome.

Naejangsan National Park, South Korea
Hey guys, in this video, my friends Sean, Genisee, Janelle, and my wife traveled to the beautiful Naejangsan National Park. This parked is considered to be one of the most beautiful parks to visit during Fall. MY recommendation is to go during peak season to see the leaves at it's prettiest. Be warned though, a lot of people go there as well. If you need help with navigation to this national park or when the peak season during fall is, let me know in the comments. Also, another recommendation is to ride the cable car to one of the peaks in the park, you will see an amazing site!

Jangtaesan Recreational Forest, South Korea
What can I say about Jangtaesan 장태산자연휴양림 in South Korea 대한민국. Honestly, because this is just a Recreational Forest, it gets overlooked by the national parks. Honestly, I never heard of this place until my wife looked on Instagram. This place may not be classified as a National Park but it holds something truly unique. Jangtaesan is located near Daejeon and it is a great place to go for a day of walking.

Uniquely Korean Ep5 Gangwon's Winter on Canvas
Gangwon′s Winter on Canvas
The blue ocean, Seorak Mountain and many more natural wonders of Gangwon Province remains unchanged through the seasons.
A painter dedicates his life to capturing the beauty of Gangwon.
For several decades his paintings featured Sokcho.
Meet Park Dong-guk.
He continues his one-track-minded work today.
On this 5th journey into something Uniquely Korean, we dive into the canvas of this painter in Sokcho.
The Place of Longing, Sokcho
Jangsa Port puts on a different face during different times of the year.
Every season it offers something new.
It′s a calm and backdated place.
A place that inspire many other painters like Park.
Park′s subject for one of his latest projects is the Yeongrang Lake.
Gatbae has become something that represents Sokcho.
This little raft is moved by manpower and watching the riders at work is a fascinating sight, worthy of being captured on canvas.
Every one of his paintings plays an important role in recording all things wonderful in Sokcho.
The People of Sokcho
Displaced people got together to start their own community in Abai village.
Cuttlefish sundae made in this village helped put the town on the map.
On a snowy day, Park climbs Jinburyeong with his close painter friends.
The white canvas becomes the background for the paintings of this snow white scenery.
Sokcho is beautiful for its simplicity and calm.
It′s monotony translates to tranquility for many.
[4K] Coex Byeolmadang Library (코엑스 별마당 도서관) Must-Visit Place in Seoul Korea (Short Clip)
A wonderful library in the center of a huge shopping mall in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea!
The most spacious space in the center of Starfield COEX Mall, with hundreds of shops, is surprisingly a library. This place is called 'Starfield Library' or 'Starfield Library' after the name of the shopping mall.
It is open without holiday from 10:30 am to 10 pm. There are over 70,000 books, but anyone can stop by and relax without reading them. It is loved when you need a place to meet friends, wait for a movie to start, or rest your tired legs in shopping.
Of course, it is also famous as a place to take photos for SNS.

My first trip to Taiwan! Enjoyed seeing Lungshan Temple 龍山寺 and eating at Ningxia Night Market 寧夏路夜市.
Taiwan is a small and beautiful country with lots of things to do, see, and eat for real cheap! On the first day here, I had a chance to ride plenty of taxis which I tell and show how much I paid. I also went to Longshan Temple, visited Ximending, and ate at Ningxia Night Market.

Hiking Bukhansan National Park
My best friend Josh and I hiked one of the most popular mountains and national parks in Korea. Bukhansan National Park attracts around 5 million visitors each year. But please be careful because the routes can be slippery and dangerous, however, the view is spectacular and worth it! If I remember correctly, the whole journey took us nearly 8 hours to complete so be prepared emotionally and physically to endure some pain. I will include a link to the official website. Also, if you have any questions regarding about this place or any place I have visited, leave me a comment below. Thanks guys!
