Welcome to Belgrade-Serbia
Belgrade is situated in South-Eastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula. City lies 116.75 metres (383.0 ft) above sea level and is located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. The river waters surround it from three sides, and that is why since ancient times it has been the guardian of river passages. Because of its position it was properly called the gate of the Balkans, and the door to Central Europe.
Lost world of eastern Serbia
For ten days in the summer of 2016 we guided a british group from Lost World Adventures on a memorable tour of eastern Serbia. It had everything a true adventurer could wish for - excitement, discovery, stunning views, wonderful camping spots, great trails, natural wonders - and it was, in fact, a family tour, that both the young and grownups enjoyed just as much. We hope we've managed to show you the adventure potential of eastern Serbia through this 5-minute video!

Cheap Real Estate for Sale in Serbia
We are back with another international real estate tour, this time in Vojvodina in northern Serbia.
Did you know that, in some of the small towns there, it is possible to buy entire houses with big pieces of land, ranging from €6,000 to €15,000?
4:24 -The real estate agent explains living in Serbia and foreign ownership laws
7:19 - The first property (Taraš)
10:22 - The second property (Elemir)
12:40 - The third property (Mužlja)
What's more, the land in that region of Serbia is really fertile and suitable for growing all sorts of agricultural goods and domestic animals, which can be a great investment for the future.
Our host for the day was a real estate agent Gordana, who showed us three houses in Vojvodina countryside while discussing the property market situation, different possibilities, and investment opportunities.
Check out Gordana's website for more information about specific properties for sale:

Belgrade, Serbia - Roadtrip (Ep 8)
After 2 attempts of trying to cross the Serbian border from Kosovo, we finally got our feet on Serbian ground.
See here the previous episode:
Because of lack of time, we decided to only visit Serbian's capital, beautiful Belgrade. We had a nice walk in Kalemegden park, Belgrade Fortress & Saint Mark Church. We wanted to visit the Nikola Tesla museum but surprisingly it was closed on Monday like all the other museums... we are amateur
However, we had fun in the rain! It's worth the detour.

BELGRADE BEOGRAD SERBIA 1973 TRIP
Belgrade (Serbian: Beograd, Београд listen (help·info)) is the capital of Serbia and Montenegro. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe, first settled in the 3rd century BC by the Celts before becoming the Roman settlement of Singidunum. The name Beograd (Belgrade) was first mentioned in 878 AD. It has been the capital of Serbia since 1404, and was the capital of Yugoslavia from 1918 until 2003.
The city lies at the confluence of the Sava and Danube in north central Serbia, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans. The official population of the Belgrade region is 1,576,124. Unofficially (taking into account the large number of Serbian refugees and displaced persons from Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the province of Kosovo-Metohia), the population probably surpasses 2 million. It is the largest city on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, and by population ranks fourth in the Balkans behind Istanbul, Athens and Bucharest. WIKIPEDIA

Serbian Trains at Belgrade
A brief look at Serbian trains, filmed at Belgrade main station. First we see a handsome looking Hungarian built 4-8-0 steam loco, albeit now looking rather sad and neglected in its faded blue livery. Next we see some 25kV Class 444/441 ASEA built electric locos which seem to haul most passenger trains and finally two night trains - the 2145 to Budapest and the 2150 to Skopje

SERBIAN FOOD - Cevapi, Pasta, Burgers, Rakija (YUM)
The food and service in Serbia are amazing! Serbia is a small Eastern European country (next to Croatia) that really is heaven for travellers looking for amazing food and memorable service.
Whilst in Serbia, we ate some of the best food we have ever eaten, and, if you're a meat eater, you're almost assured to love it, too. With a long list of Serbian food delicacies to choose from, we can't choose just one favourite - cevapi, sarma, chufta, pljeskavica. Also, if you haven't tried rakija (rakia), traditional Serbian plum brandy, you are in for a treat. This video shows you some of the menu offerings we found on our latest trip. Živeli Serbia.
In this video we visited Serbia's Belgrade, Stari Grad, Kalemegdan Fortress (Belgrade Fortress) and Zemun.

Belgrade to Budapest by Serbian sleeper
An overnight journey from Belgrade to Budapest by elderly Serbian sleeping-car. The car is old & somewhat decrepit, but the beds are comfy and sheets clean. It also ran on time. Serbian & Hungarian passport control wake you at the border, but you do get some sleep!
Note that as at summer 2015, this train appears to have couchettes but now no sleeper - not entirely surprising given the Serbian sleeping-car's age.
