Trip up NORTH | Berlin -- LAPLAND
I always had the dream of going far up North and ever since I wanted to xplore Lapland.
This fall, flights were cheap, so we engaged in a spontaneous trip. Starting from Berlin, Germany we took the plane to Helsinki, Finnland. From there we made a 1000 KM roadtrip to the beautiful Seven Fells region in the North East Corner of Lapland. It was a unique experience - CHECK IT OUT!
We stayed at the Seven Fells hostel - 5 out of 5 - wonderful place!

My friend and I went backpacking during January, we started in Copenhagen and flew to Helsinki, where we got the night train up to Kemi, from there we got a bus to Akaslompolo. We stayed at 7 fells Hostel.

I spent Christmas in Akaslompolo in Northern Finland.
Husky driving, reindeer sledging and snow-mobiling up into the fells were some of the most incredible experiences I've ever had.
Not to mention the beauty of the snow village and the stunning Aurora Borealis.
