Where To Find Gold In The UK?
Where to find gold in the UK? We take a look at where to find gold UK. What many people don't realise is that you can find gold in the UK. Finding gold can be extremely exciting, but you have to know where to look.
England has always been known as a wealthy country, but the mineral wealth has never gotten much attention. The country is actually quite rich in mineral resources, and there have been discoveries of various minerals all across the UK. Different areas have produced different minerals deposits. Iron, copper, silver, tin and lead have all been mined in England, but with the high price of gold in recent years there has been increasing interest in gold from casual prospectors. In this video we take a look at some of the best places to find gold in the UK.

Video Game Arcade Tours - The Needles Landmark Attraction (Isle of Wight, UK)
This arcade has always been amusing to us! It literally sits on the finish line of Walk The Wight (The Isle of Wight Marathon!)... So after 26 miles of steady incline from Bembridge to Alum Bay, it's time to hop on the Dance Dance Revolution lol! It used to be Supernova, now it's out of order. This was in 2017, so I hope it's been fixed up because it'll be pure redemption otherwise!

Many of the arcades in the UK (Mainly seaside arcades) are called Amusement Arcades. They are typically packed with redemption-based machines with very few video games (As video games simply do not make money). As gambling is legal in the UK, they tend to include fruit machines (aka slot machines) and various other things money-making games, so video games really take a back seat in places like these. They also really hate filming, I'm not sure why because it's free advertising, unless dodgy things are taking place lol
An amusement arcade (often referred to as video arcade or simply arcade) is a venue where people play arcade games such as video games, pinball machines, electro-mechanical games, redemption games, merchandisers (such as claw cranes), or coin-operated billiards or air hockey tables. In some countries, some types of arcades are also legally permitted to provide gambling machines such as slot machines or pachinko machines. Games are usually housed in cabinets. The term used for ancestors of these venues in the beginning of the 20th century was penny arcades.Video games were introduced in amusement arcades in the late 1970s and were most popular during the golden age of arcade video games, the early 1980s. Arcades became popular with children and particularly adolescents, which led parents to be concerned that video game playing might cause them to skip school.
The Needles is a row of three distinctive stacks of chalk that rise about 30m out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, close to Alum Bay, and part of Totland, the westernmost civil parish of the Isle of Wight. The Needles Lighthouse stands at the outer, western end of the formation. Built in 1859, it has been automated since 1994.[5] The waters and adjoining seabed form part of the Needles Marine Conservation Zone and the Needles along with the shore and heath above are part of the Headon Warren and West High Down Site of Special Scientific Interest.[6][7]
The formation takes its name from a fourth needle-shaped pillar called Lot's Wife, that collapsed in a storm in 1764.[8] The remaining rocks are not at all needle-like, but the name has stuck.
The Needles were featured on the BBC Two TV programme Seven Natural Wonders (2005) as one of the wonders of Southern England.

Berkhamsted virtual walk
Today's virtual walk is in Berkhamsted.
The earliest recorded spelling of the town's name is the 10th century Anglo-Saxon Beorhðanstædæ. The first part may have originated from either the Old English words beorg, meaning hill, or berc or beorc, meaning birch; or from the older Old Celtic word Bearroc, meaning hilly place. The latter part, hamsted, derives from the Old English word for homestead. So the town's name could be either mean homestead amongst the hills or the homestead among the birches.
Through history spellings of the town's name have changed. Local historian Rev John Wolstenholme Cobb identified over 50 different versions of the town's name since the writing of the Domesday Book (such as: Berkstead, Berkampsted, Berkhampstead, Muche Barkhamstede, Berkhamsted Magna, Great Berkhamsteed and Berkhamstead.) The present spelling was adopted in 1937. The town's local nickname is Berko
My channel is to help people relax and explore the world through my lens. Some people just can't get out anymore due to Illness or failing health and I hope this helps them a little. I want to give you the feeling of being there with me.
Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman artefacts show that the Berkhamsted area of the Bulbourne Valley has been settled for over 5,000 years. The discovery of a large number of worked flint chips provides Neolithic evidence of on-site flint knapping in the centre of Berkhamsted. Several settlements dating from the Neolithic to the Iron Age (about 4500–100 BC) have been discovered south of Berkhamsted. Three sections of a late Bronze Age to Iron Age (1200–100 BC) bank and ditch, sixteen feet (five metres) wide by seven to thirteen feet (two to four metres) high and known as Grim's Ditch, are found on the south side of the Bulbourne Valley.
