BIG4 Taggerty Holiday Park
Our recent adventure in Victoria took us north from Melbourne, through the Yarra Valley to Taggerty - a small community on the Maroondah Highway. On the way we drove through the Black Spur. We were a little hesitant at first (due to the name) and thought the trip into the mountains might be a little difficult towing a caravan. We had been told it would be fine and so it was. An amazing drive in fact, showcasing some spectacular scenery. One of the best drives we have undertaken in Australia - just stunning seeing a forest full of tree ferns and tall straight trees reaching towards the sky...

The Conservation Pioneer Award honours individuals who have contributed significantly to the conservation movement in Ontario. These prestigious awards are presented annually to deserving individuals at the A.D. Latornell Conservation Symposium.
This award is designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated life-long, outstanding contributions to the field of conservation. They are recognized for their innovation, leadership and dedication to the conservation field. Either through their personal activities and/or leadership, they have gone beyond the call of duty or responsibility to an employer, client or their community.
These individuals have helped to celebrate and inspire innovation in the conservation field and have made a difference in their area of expertise. Nominees have encouraged and motivated others to take similar leadership roles towards conservation work.
Nominations are reviewed and evaluated by a special sub-committee of the Latornell Steering Committee.

Michael Hough
Nominating Agency: Toronto and Region Conservation
Michael Hough's distinguished career has progressed through many professional avenues including private consulting practitioner, academic teacher, respected author and community activist. He was the founding partner of Hough, Stansbury & Associates in 1963 and has continued with the firm as it has evolved today into Envision - The Hough Group. He was also a founder of the School of Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto and more recently has taught as Professor in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University, as well as Harvard. Michael has travelled extensively for many years lecturing and providing leadership through academic endeavors and practice. He has lead several generations of landscape architects in Canada and abroad in articulating an ecological view of planning and design that encompasses a consideration of nature and society, as a functioning whole. His books are widely distributed in the world and include Cities and Natural Processes, Out of Place: Restoring Identity to the Regional Landscape and People and City Landscapes.
Trained as an architect and landscape architect, Michael has bridged several professional disciplines to bring a new view to urban design and site planning. He has tirelessly mentored staff for 40 years within his consulting practice, students within various academic programs where he has taught, and through community efforts and volunteer leadership. Over the years, he lead a movement of design thinking that has evolved into a foundation for today's urban agenda for healthier built communities and natural systems. In addition to his writings, and award winning research, Michael has left a legacy of landmark design projects which form anchors in the urban environment at Scarborough College, Ontario Place, Major Hill's Park - Ceremonial Route (Ottawa), and many others here and abroad.

4: UFO's in country Victoria, Australia
On this episode we have Sherryl (now known as Belle) joining us and Belle has had multiple encounters with UFOs from a terrifying experience to being monitored every night in the small Victorian country town of Strath Creek.
Belle and her entire family was also interrogated by the Air Force over what they had witnessed. This experience was featured on national news and this can be viewed on this episodes web page along with multiple news articles about her encounter.
