Shallow Inlet is a marine inlet, opening onto Waratah Bay on the western side of the Yanakie Isthmus in South Gippsland, Victoria, south-eastern Australia. It lies close to the small holiday communities of Sandy Point and Yanakie, as well as to Wilsons Promontory and the Wilsons Promontory National Park.
Makes for a great trip out with the family and friends, Currently its quite smokey from the bush fires so if you plan on heading up please be safe and pack accordingly!

McLoughlins Beach Corner Inlet from above Part 1
McLoughlin's beach is located in South Gippsland Australia. It is one of the small Gippsland towns with only a handful of residents. You can access the beach and the inlet at McLoughlins.
McLoughlins is made of waters from Corner inlet onshore and the 90-mile beach offshore for fishing in Gippsland. You can launch your boat at the boat ramp and fish either onshore or offshore.

Snake Island and Corner inlet
Corner inlet is situated to the north of Wilson' s Promontory, which is the most southern point of mainland Australia. This slide show movie was photographed from a small A22 Foxbat Aircraft early in the morning. Our mission was to overfly the remote cattlemen,s stockyard and huts on Snake Island to the south of Welshpool in Victoria's Gippsland area. We also overfly a camping ground popular with recreational fishermen near Yanakie. Some magic views across the Inlet and the hills of Wilson's Promontory. This all enhanced by the light reflecting across the water from a majestic morning sky.
