Just like the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the Louvre Pyramids, or Chicago's Cloud Gate, the centerpiece for the Jinan Cheda International Financial Center is intended to be a cultural contribution to its community and is certain to become an icon, not only for Cheda and Jinan, but for China as well. A destination as well as a work of art, it is designed to be fun and functional, elegant and engaging.
Made of highly polished stainless steel topped with glass, its sculptural form was influenced by a traditional Chinese silver Yuan Bao or ingot. The mirror-like properties of its façade add life to the community as people interact with it, and it, in turn, reflects the happenings and movement of its surroundings. In form and scale, the functional sculpture acknowledges and relates well to Citizen's Park and is integral to Cheda Plaza, harmonizing with the sophisticated towers and, quite literally, providing a cultural bridge from the community, the Park and the Plaza to the Cheda Mall, Theaters and roof garden.
The vessel can be entered from the lower Plaza level or via a glass-enclosed corridor from the Mall and Theaters above. Inside, the intimate exhibition space can be frequently refreshed with traveling art galleries, specialty craft shows or an endless variety of entertaining events sure to add value to the community.

Bowl like building built at Porcelain Capital” in SE China
A bowl-like building was constructed in Jingdezhen, also known as the Porcelain Capital”. This “bowl” is 80 meters high and the top measures 80 meters in diameter. The building is going to be the Changnanli Cultural and Art Center when it becomes operational. It has adopted a unique bucket bowl shape, which symbolizes the “Mother of Porcelain”.

China: Blatter honoured with shrine in Shandong's $25 million football museum
Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter was honoured in the $24.4 million (€22.5 million) Chinese National Football Museum in Linzi, Shandong province on Friday.
The football museum contains shrines, statues, memorabilia and quotes from Blatter, including his well renowned claim that football originated in China with the ancient Chinese game called 'Cuju.'
The Linzi National Football Museum also features 11,700 square metres of exhibits documenting the development of the Cuju game in China, which is considered to be an ancient predecessor of modern football.
