Shanthipura is the highest village in the entire island, located at an altitude of 7339 feet on the Kikiliyamana Mountain road from Nuwara Eliya , Sri Lanka.There is a view point known as Kalapura within the village of Shanthipura, that provides the perfect viewing point for the surrounding landscape. Galway's Land National Park is a small national park situated within the city limits of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. Have been declared as a wildlife sanctuary on 27 May 1938. The Galway's Land was elevated to the national park status on 18 May 2006.
The park was declared to conserve the montane ecosystems. Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka considers that the Victoria park of Nuwara Eliya and the Galway's Land as two of the most significant birding sites in Sri Lanka.
Galway's Land harbours about 20 rare migrant bird species and 30 native species. Apart from the avifauna, the park has valuable floral species of both native and foreign origin. Galway Forest Lodge is located close to the park.

Dunsinane Falls (Pudalu Oya Ella) | ඩන්සිනන් ( පුන්ඩලු ඔය) ඇල්ල
Dunsinane Falls (or Pundalu Oya Falls) (Sinhala: ඩන්සිනන් දියඇල්ල) is a waterfall in Nuwara Eliya District of Sri Lanka. It is situated in Pundaluoya village and between the Tea estates known as Dunsinan and Shin. Therefore sometimes this falls is called as Dunsinance Shine falls. The water fall is created by the river called Pundalu Oya which is a tributary of Kotmale Oya.

Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m above sea level.

The Ramboda Ella (Puna Ella) double fall is unique in the ‘Y’ form where two waterfalls with two water sources merge in to one at the bottom. We only went to the top of one waterfall. The water in the fall on the left is from the Puna Oya, A canal which comes through the forest reserve above. The fall on the right hand side is made up from water from Pundalu Oya which flows through cultivated land above. Most of the year the fall flowing through the Pandalu Oya carry more volume but during periods of long drought the role is reversed. The water on flowing on the left fall remains more or less the same while the water on the other fall reduces significantly.
Shanthipura View Point
Shanthipura is the highest village in North East of Sri Lanka and accessible from the Nuwara Eliya Kandy road. Located at the bottom of a hill, this little village gives a panoramic view of the distant blue hills and the lake next to the valley, gradually again going up a slope with the green tea bushes. Many hotels are located here where the traveler can book into a room at very reasonable rates. It is located in 7.2km From Nuwara Eliya.
