Shaoshan Hunan China Visiting 1890s China House of Chairman Mao Zedong [Small Girl Big World]
In this video, follow me to visit to Shaoshan Hunan China, the birthplace of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founder of People's Republic of China. I will be visiting to his former residence where he was born. In another word, you will be seeing together with me the China house design that was built around 1890s.
Shaoshan is 120 kilometers away from Changsha. I took approximate 1 hour by car. This small city now prosperous under domestic tourism. It is now become one of the top Hunan China tourist attractions.
In Chairman Mao Zedong former residence, we can witness the first hand the original house although the house was damaged and fix in the passage of time. As per other traditional china houses, Chairman Mao Zedong house is built with wood, clay and bricks. The furnitures, tables, chairs are the original that were once used by Chairman Mao Zedong and his family.
Just walking distance away from the Chairman Mao house is a primary school where he was studying during his earlier year. Here in the school, the interior and furnishing is still well preserve and even the lunch box and shoe of Chairman Mao are the exhibits.
Nearby is the Mao Zedong Square. Here, Chinese pay there respect to Chairman Mao by giving flower and bow to the founder of People's Republic of China.
The first Vice Chairman of China was Liu Shaoqi. He is a native Hunan too and his former residence is not far away from Chairman Mao. There is a museum dedicated to him as well as well Liu Shaoqi Square where we can pay respect to Liu Shaoqi.

Recently, a 10-meter Mao Zedong statue in Hainan
was demolished and smashed into 5 pieces.
The photos of the destroyed statue are circulated
online, causing heated discussions and debates.
Some netizens applauded, saying this should have
happened earlier.
Let's take a look at the report.
Apply Daily reported, the giant white marble statue
was located in Longrou Town, Wenchang City, Hainan.
The 9.9 m statue was erected by the sea
on Oct. 1, 2008.
This statue was demolished on Feb. 19, 2011,
allegedly by a local real estate developer.
The photos of the smashed statue were posted online,
which showed its disfigured nose and forehead.
The CCP-hired 50 cent Party were quite nervous,
vowing to punish the demolishers.
Some netizens pointed out, the problem is that
there are still people making Mao statue in 21st century.
That's something to be punished.
Wang Chuanzhong, activist in China:
Under the 20-year rule of Mao, from 1949 to 1976,
China experienced an unprecedented catastrophe.
Netizens said, like Saddam's statues in Iraq,
Mao's statue at Tiananmen is the next to be destroyed.
Wang Chuanzhong specifically mentioned
Mao's memorial hall on Tiananmen Square.
He said, a report published 10 years ago revealed
the daily cost to preserve Mao's body was 20,000 yuan.
It is a complete waste.
Wang: If the CCP continues to put Mao's corpse there,
the Chinese will throw it away after toppling CCP,
just like what happened in the former USSR.
In late 2010, a Lenin's statue in Russia was blasted.
By then, Chinese netizens quipped the incident
as a demolition by Russian real estate developers.
A few months later, it became true in China.
Netizens praised the developer for doing good
by creating the most powerful demolition in history.
The CCP-instilled things in people's mind
should have long been demolished long ago.
Around the time of Tiananmen Massacre in 1989,
the well-known 3 Tiananmen Heroes
poured ink and threw eggs at Mao's portrait.
Later, they were sentenced to 16 years or life in prison.
In May 2007, Mr. Gu Haiou from Xinjiang Province
threw combustibles at Mao's portrait,
burning its corner.
In April 2010, Mao's portrait on Tiananmen Square
was once again smeared by ink.

Mao Grouped with Stalin and Lenin

China's Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Hall recently
signed joint agreements with Russia's Lenin Museum
and Georgia's Stalin Museum.
Historians said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
believes totalitarian rulers still have influence on the world,
but in reality, Stalin and Lenin became criminals after
the fall of the Soviet Union.
This is undoubtedly the CCP's way of confusing people.
A delegation from China's Shaoshan City and Shaoshan
Mao Zedong Memorial Hall recently visited
Ulyanovsk, Russia and Gori, Georgia,
which are the hometowns of Lenin and Stalin.
They signed collaboration agreements with
the Lenin and Stalin museums.
According to Voice of America report on Aug. 14,
the agreements include: joint publication of research data,
exchanging exhibits and films with one another and so on.
Li Yuanhua (Former Associate Professor
at Beijing Normal University):
Today, more than 100 million people have withdrawn from
the CCP and many more people are awakening,
so their (the CCP's museums') actions are
a deliberate wish to continue deceiving the Chinese people.
They think that Communism and totalitarian rulers still
have influence on the world.
In reality, I think this is just a foolish show.
The CCP has always relied on lies to deceive people.
Professor Li Yuanhua believes that the Chinese people with
some basic knowledge should know that
after the Russian people abandoned the communist USSR,
Stalin and Lenin became criminals in history.
Mao is actually the founder of the CCP tyranny.
According to sources, Georgia adopted a Freedom Charter
in June 2011, which removes the residues of Communism
and puts Communism in the same class as Nazi fascism.
Moreover, the statue of Stalin in Gori was torn down.
Voice of America reported that Russian author Bondarev,
who specializes in the October Revolution, said,
if there weren't so many streets named after Lenin,
Russian society would have forgotten about him by now.
People view Stalin as a man-eating devil,
who built a totalitarian regime.
Like Hitler, Stalin is a heinous criminal.
Bondarev said that he couldn't understand how Lenin and
Stalin still hold weight in China.
He believes that the Chinese people should equate
Mao Zedong with Stalin and Lenin.
Chen Kai (Former Chinese National Basketball Player):
Individual sacrifices for the country is a generally accepted
in China, so Mao Zedong used this (to his advantage).
With each of Mao's political campaigns, he used 95% of
the population to persecute the other 5%.
Mao always said, oh, these 5% are bad; those 95% are good.
In the end, all Chinese were persecuted, each and every one.
Even today, Chinese people still do not understand Mao and
the regime used the masses to persecute individuals.
Chen Kai pointed out that Mao always went by
power comes out of the rifle barrels.
If people don't listen to him, he kills them.
So Chen Kai believes, if the portrait of Mao is not taken down
or doesn't fall, all of China is still in a sick society.
