This Stunning 4K Timelapse Video Showcases The Hidden Beauty of Ladakh
As we all know that Ladakh is Known for its beauty, adventurous roads, snowcapped mountains, but there are some hidden places in Ladakh which have never been explored before. Most of these places are located in the Kargil area of Ladakh. Let's explore the hidden beauty of these places.
This video was a dream project for me, Finally it's here... It took me around 67 days to plan, shoot and edit this video since i had to travel to multiple places to choose perfect locations for the shoot. The editing part was very tough since i shot this in RAW (4K) to retain more and more details in the shots and edited every single frame to check color correction and white balance. And finally made a 4K Timelapse video.

Road travel from Kargil to Mulbek is described here through Video
Home Stretch From Mulbek to Leh, Ladakh
Leaving Mulbek behind, ex-Marine and Travels With Sheila crept along on the road through (averaging 15mph) always gorgeous Lamayuru Monastery, Moonland, onto the new stretch of highway to Khaltse where all tourists stop for lunch. Either order food in one of the little stalls or eat packed lunches. The owners don't mind, either way. But why wouldn't you order when egg curry with beans, rice, unlimited refills cost less than $1 U.S.?
After Khaltse, the highway was good...bad...good...bad...but the tires were holding up! Past Apricot groves, here comes Leh. The 4x4 actually made the trip without any more flat tires. Blissful, happy, at the Deskit Villa, In a hot shower, clean clothes, a bed, and warm welcome while SkyWalker Travel is even more thrilled than us that we completed the Zanskar trek.
Oh happy day!!

Episode 5 of the Great escape our ladakh bike trip
We Started from Kargil in Ladakh towards leh in the morning after spending whole day in kargil to get bike repaired. within half n hour we started from Kargil towards leh Ladakh the rod with auxiliary lights broke due to vibration in royal enfield classic 500 bike. Somehoe i fixed it with electrical tape and moved on.
Ride was smooth road also good buj approx 35 kms from kargil towards leh ladakh just before Mulbekh village gear lever of my bike fell somewhere on the road as soon as i tried to shift the gear there was no lever,But i was lucky enough that day , i found it on the road, Actually the connecting screw went off, reason vibration again.
I took it and moved on without shifting gears till mulbekh monatry where i fixed it temporarily because we didnt had any spare screw for that.
We stayed at monastry for sometime and it was real nice view of Maitreya buddha or future buddha carved on limestone rock
After spending some time at mulbekh monastry we moved towards Namik la or namik pass, one of the two high mountain passes on Kargil to Leh ladakh road.
The view from Namik la or Namika pass was breathtaking and was feast to eyes as we moved further to Fotu la or Fatu la as written on sigh boards there, second high mountain pass on Kargil to leh ladakh road Being the hishest point on kargil to Leh, We found another group of Bikers from Bangalore having trouble with one of their bike just before Fotu la or Fatu la pass.We stayed with them for a while and helped them out.
Again we had good time in Fotu la pass and then moved towards Lamayuru village, Having very famous Lamayuru monastry.
We spent some time there as well in Lamayuru village Took some drone shots and had a cup of tea there.
Though we didnt go to Lamayuru monastry as been there before and we were too slow and were already late.
We reached Khalste in evening and it started raining and we couldnt do much about it as had to stop off and on towards leh and we were damn late as it was already 9 when we reached Nemo. But overall it was fun ride and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Finally reached Leh at 11 pm and we were tired so retired for the dayu jus after dinner without much of chit chat or any other activity
We Took drone shots at Mulbekh and Lamayuru in 4k so any reaction or suggestions you may leave in comment section

Kargil to Leh - Enchanting Ladakh | Mulbekh | Fotula Top | Lamayuru | Magnetic Hill | 33 Days of Joy
This video inlcudes the route from Kargil to Leh via NH1.
September 2018
Ladakh (land of high passes) is a region in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir that currently extends from the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram range to the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent.[3][4] It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Jammu and Kashmir and its culture and history are closely related to that of Tibet. Ladakh is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and culture.
Kargil and Leh resides in the Ladakh region connected by NH-1.
Distance: 220 km
The route between Kargil and Leh is very beautiful.
Mulbekh Monastery
Mulbekh is A VILLAGE around 45 km from Kargil on the way to Leh. The monastery contains, statue of Maitreya Buddha carved on a big rock. Unfortunately, the lower part of the statue is partly obscured by a small temple built in 1975.[6]
Fotula Top is the highest point on the Leh-Srinagar highway with an altitude of 13,478ft (4,108m) A drive through the pass is said to be a beautiful journey but it was raining and we had to face an unexpected fall of temperature. We were literally shivering.
Lamayuru is a small village in Ladakh, midway between Kargil and Leh . Moonlike landscapes are its attractions.
The apple and apricot farms aided the beauty of this route. Thankfully it was the harvesting time and We got the oportunity to taste the real fruits. Highly recommended to get few if you are travelling in this route.
Magnet Hill is a Cyclops hill located near Leh . The layout of the area and surrounding slopes create the appearance of a hill. The hill road is actually a downhill road. Objects and cars on the hill road may appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity when they are, in fact, rolling downhill.[2]
Leh:
Leh is a ditrict in the Ladakh region and the head quarter resides in Leh city.
The city was beyond our expectations. Never expected Leh as such an advanced town with 4 lane roads, AIRPORT and other advanced facilities. The main market and the nearby Tibetan market can give you anything you want.
Because of The people, Tibetan culture, and the beautiful nature Leh is undoubtfully a must visit place in India
