A beautiful natural desert reserve park in Sharjah UAE, Special attraction for kids and families, Wild life, Botanical and Kids Farms.

A day in Sharjah Desert Park Centers

This wildlife centre includes a natural-history museum, a botanical museum and a children's farm where kids get to meet pet and feed goats, camels and ducks, and ride ponies and camels. The top attraction, though, is the Arabia's Wildlife Centre, a zoo showcasing the diversity of local critters. Vipers, flamingos, wildcats, mongooses, hyenas, wolves plus the Arabian oryx and splendid Arabian leopards. The most interesting fact about this center is that you can experience all these while standing in an air conditioned room. You have refreshment areas in the middle of your tour which is very useful when you go there with your family.

It is situated over al dhaid road and little away from the city. It is a beautiful green park and well maintained with trees and lawns.

1. Sharjah Art Museum

If you are really an art lover, you got to go and experience this museum, which showcases an array of the most valuable Arab artworks. Animals at Sharjah Desert Park

We were planning to go to newly opened Dubai Safari Park but they were already over there capacity. And I had promised my kids that I will take them to show animal, so to my surprise, there was a place. Sharjah Desert Park was the first choice we came up with and I am glad we found it.

Desert Park was established in 1995 in Seih Al Masmout protected area which then developed to be an academy for science, culture, and entertainment.

They have 4 different section the Park is divided into.

1. Children Farm
2. Arabian Wildlife Center
3. Islamic Botanical garden
4. Natural History and Botanical Museum

Overall it is a very educational place for the Kids and the get to learn a lot about the animals, Plants and much more about the wildlife of the Region.

Sharjah Wildlife Centre is one of the best place in the world to see the Arabian leopard.

It showcases the diversity of fauna found in Sharjah, with reptiles, insect house, indoor Birds and flamingos. Opened in September 1999.

The Wildlife Center is located about 26 KM from the center of the city after the Sharjah International Airport,

It is part of the Sharjah Desert Park, it's also have botanical gardens, a natural history museum and a children’s farm.

You can see the free-flying Birds.

There is also a café and picnic facilities in the grounds.
