Shark Fin Cove - Davenport, CA Aerial Scenery
Aerial scenery from Shark Fin Cove in Davenport, CA. The video footage was shot with a DJI Phantom 3 Professional Quadcopter on August 15th, 2016. Shark Fin Cove is a small secluded beach on the side of State Route 1 near Santa Cruz, CA. The beach is also known as Shark Fin Beach, Shark Tooth Beach, Shark Tooth Cove, or Davenport Cove. The cove gets its name from its rock that looks like a shark fin or shark tooth.
In this video, I show some stationary scenery where I just let my quadcopter hover in the air, and a scenery shot where I circle the rock.

Famous Shark Fin Cove: Santa Cruz, California
Family mini vacation starts off in the small and very quaint town of Davenport. About 15 minutes north of Santa Cruz, California. From there we went on a hike to the Famous Shark Fin Rock Cove....
We park across the street from the Whalers Cafe, had a killer breakfast and from the cafe walk across the Highway 1 to the abandon railroad tracks, make a left and walk to the ever Famous Shark Fin Rock....
Thanks

Shark fin cove - Santa Cruz California
Hi guys! This beach is one of the amazing in santa cruz. Very beautiful place and perfect for unwind or picnic. It also nice for pictorial. There is not much people here im not sure its because we went weekdays and not weekend. I advice you to not leave any visble things in your car when you park. The parking is beside of the freeway. Just for the safety. If you go here in bay area you need to visit this amazing place. Hope you enjoy watching and helps you.

Shark Fin Cove - Santa Cruz, CA - DJI Mavic 2 Pro
One of my favorite beach spots on the coast between Santa Cruz and Davenport is Shark Fin Cove. It's a tiny beach close to highway 1 with easy parking. BE CAREFUL it's got a steep and slippery trail. Watch out for poison oak, it's everywhere. The beach has a cool cave and a huge shark fin shaped rock formation. There is also some form of drainage tunnel that goes back into the hillside under the highway. Let me know in the comments what's back there...

TRINIDAD BEACH CALIFORNIA
TRINIDAD BEACH CALIFORNIA
This isn't our first video at Trinidad Beach and it won't be our last ;) Whenever we feel a little too overwhelmed with life....we go to this beach. It’s about a 2 hour drive for us and it’s exactly what we need. Stuck in the car giving us the chance to talk about how things are going and then being able to enjoy the SALT life air and crashing waves for a few hours before we leave covered in sand feeling exhausted. But a good kind of exhausted. Exhausted from laughing and playing all day. Ah it was JUST what we needed last weekend. ☀️
My dad made it a goal to go to the beach once a month for a year...and that year has almost turned into 2 years now. We thought that was such a fun tradition to look forward to each month, so we have decided to visit Trinidad Beach once a month for all of 2019. There is a lot to do at Trinidad...so we are excited to start a little series featuring this beautiful gem in Northern California.
Thanks so much for watching and if you haven't already, hit that subscribe button and notification bell to be notified whenever we upload a new video!

Fantastic sunset and ocean view in Devil's Slide Trail && Pacifica, California, USA
During one weekend this December, we visited Pacifica, California, a town which is right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, just south of San Francisco.
First we went to the Pacifica State Beach and watched some surfers.
Then we enjoyed a very relaxed afternoon hike at Devil's Slide Trail, which was previously a small section of the famous Highway 1 (prior to 2013). The birds were singing while flying and walked around people without hesitation. A sea plane was flying just above the surface of the sea, gliding like a pelican. The wavy clouds above were surreal, the sunset dramatic, and the fog in the distance just above the ocean was very dreaming and beautiful.
At last we visited downtown Pacifica, when the sunset over the sea was mostly covered by extremely thick blankets of clouds, only releasing a narrow gap of brilliant red light while still reaching the whole sky. What incredible craft of nature art!
Shark Fin Cove, Half Moon Bay, Big Basin - August 2016 Vlog (Part 3)
Previous Vlog:
I've done quite a lot of traveling in the month of August. I visited places such as Mt. Tamalpais, Shark Fin Cove, Half Moon Bay, and Big Basin. I have separated the video clips I shot through out the month of August into 3 parts. Here are the links to the other 2 parts:
Part 1:
Part 2:
In part 3, I show you video from my trips to Shark Fin Cove in Davenport, CA, Half Moon Bay, CA and Big Basin in Boulder Creek, CA.
In this vlog:
- Scenery from Shark Fin Cove near Santa Cruz, CA on the side of State Route 1. I talk about my aerial and DSLR scenery photos and videos I took while there. I also show you some of the flowers growing nearby.
- I go to Half Moon Bay, CA after Shark Fin Cove. I show you the dinner I had at Sam's Chowder House and some scenery from Half Moon Bay. I see a fish jump out of the water and it was all on video!
- Drive back to home to the East Bay from Half Moon Bay. See my drive through the clouds, and some sunset scenery from the reservoir in San Mateo and San Mateo Bridge.
- My trip in Big Basin State Park near the part headquarters in Boulder Creek, CA. Come see the tall Coast Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) and Sempervirens Falls.

Exploring ABANDON Davenport Pier - Santa Cruz, CA
On this day (December 2018), I explored a unique location in Davenport with old concrete pier ruins, at Santa Cruz California. This town is a great location to explore with beautiful scenic views on the beaches of Northern California Coast. When I arrived at the pier, the swing was vandalized, however, this did not stop individuals from coming to see the abandon pier. This is a great attraction to take one photo of an uncanny but magnificent scene. Although, getting down to the beach is dangerous and I would highly suggest anyone to take extreme caution (Go at your own risk).
