Chandigarh - the beautiful green city of India. In this video I'm taking you shopping in Chandigarh. I've visited 2 markets - sector 17 market Chandigarh and Shastri Market in Chandigarh. Both these shopping markets are very popular among locals and have a lot of good stuff.
In Sector 17 market, you will find a lot of shops selling phulkari dupattas. Along with that, you will find a lot of vendors selling cheap clothes on the roadside, junk jewellery, home decor stuff etc. Sector 17 market is also famous for food stalls. In the evening this market gets very busy.
Shastri market is also quite busy. This is also called as Sector 22 market in Chandigarh and a lot of locals like to shop here. Home articles, clothes, shoes, suits, dupattas, junk jewellery, kids clothes are just some of the things that I saw here. This market is huge and can take a lot of time to cover. In Sector 22, there are a lot of places for good food.

Sector 22 market Chandigarh, Its a good place to shop for clothes for all age group. It's a great place with lots of varieties to choose from. However there are some issues with the place. One of a few downsides are that the market is too congested and cluttered. It's like a maze down there and people might actually get lost, as I have. It's should be more spacious also there is way less parking space than what's required. The vendors shops around the market, like snack stalls are okay but collectively they and market itself create a lot of garbage that is sometimes not disposed off successfully. There is an ATM nearby in the actual market blocks. It's a must visit place if you're looking for new clothes or just human interaction in general.It is as an amazing and we'll maintained market for shopping.... All kind of items you find there ...it was a great experience for me ...cheaper and best household items , everytype of clothes and many more....
Everyone who is living in Chandigarh should visit there ...
Also there are so many shops for fast food and snacks...and many more .things ..
U can get here all daily need accessories very easily and at very cheap price.. comparable to the other places...in Chandigarh.
Very crowded area to walk. Good shopkeeper. Lots of shops in a row. Good place for fashion clothes.
Very congested area for parking. Beware of robbers. I personally advice u to shop from your local shop instead of that market.
