WOW! What a week! From Neys to Okotoks, Canada
We are Bill and DeAnna, full-time RVers. We are in Canada and continuing our adventure toward Alaska. Join the fun. We made a stop at Neys Provincial Park on the shore of Lake Superior and another at Pine Tree Campground in Prawda, MB. A quick day trip to Sheep River Falls, Kananskis Country.
Sheep River Provincial Park is a provincial park located in Alberta, Canada, 23 km west of Turner Valley on highway 546. It is part of the Kananaskis Country park system.
Located on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains, the park includes the Sheep River Wildlife Sanctuary, which provides permanent habitat for bighorn sheep, while the eastern part of the reserve extends to the Foothills Natural Region, offering summer range for elk and deer.

A ride in Kananaskis Country in Alberta. Not a long ride, but a tough one. Plenty of pushing up very steep grades. I would suggest this is more of a hike than a ride. If you're up to a real hard slog through some tough terrain, give it a try.

Sheep River Falls is a small two-stage falls about 45 minutes west of Turner Valley, Alberta, Canada. Easily accessible by car with no hiking or climbing required. Great for day tripping from Calgary. Look carefully and you may even find some coal in the gravel banks.
