Fukushima Hawaii Bon Dance Festival July 22, 2017. We are in Fukushima at Shiki-no-Sato for the Fukushima Hawaii Bon Dance Festival. The festival is awesome with some taiko groups, a buyo dance group, a hula halau, a Tahitian group, Awa Odori group, Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko (Hawaii and Japan), and Honolulu Fukushima Bon Dance Club performing and leading the bon dance. Japan 1st Adventure Day 4 July 22, 2017. After breakfast begin our day by going to Mister Donut to get more food and stop at Mamador to get their delicious desert I think you can only get in Fukushima. It is very good cold! We then board our bus and head to the Fukushima Hawaii Bon Dance Festival in Shiki-no-Sato. We get there and are given bentos (box lunch) to eat and get ready for the festival. The festival is awesome with some taiko groups, a buyo dance group, a hula halau, a Tahitian group, Awa Odori group, Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko (Hawaii and Japan), and Honolulu Fukushima Bon Dance Club performing and leading the bon dance. We had such a great time sharing our Hawaii style bon dance! Enjoy!
