On this two day travel report, we headed northeast of Kyoto to explore the majestic Mount Hieizan, then made our way to the city of Uji to experience a traditional tea ceremony, before ending with a great sake tasting experience in the city of Fushimi.

The source water of Mt. Fuji gushes Out of the Kohama Pond in Rakujyu-en Garden The Genpei River is a beautiful flow of fireflies dancing on the early summer evening, while it is a 6-minute walk from JR Mishima Station.
In the river, stepping stones etc. are arranged, and you can enjoy 'Seseragi walk'.
