I am currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and traveling with a program called Remote Year. I quit my job to travel full time 6 months ago and haven't regretted it for one moment. How did I escape the rat race? I share my story here. I share my experiences traveling with a big group of digital nomads on my channel.

Gilman Scholarship Web Symposium - Opportunities for Students with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program teamed up with Mobility International USA, the Learning Abroad Center at the University of Minnesota, and a Gilman alumna to present information on how to encourage students with disabilities to study and intern abroad. This presentation, part of the Gilman Program's 2014-2015 Web Symposium Series, focused on ways advisors can assist students with disabilities to study and intern abroad, as well as ways that students with disabilities can prepare for those experiences.

The Gilman Program Web Symposium Series features Gilman staff leading a discussion with leaders in the field and Gilman alumni from across the United States on a diverse array of key topics in education abroad. Other topics in this series include: study in China and the Americas, career-oriented internships abroad, encouraging students with disabilities, opportunities for STEM majors, supporting non-traditional students and engaging alumni.
