Sunset over Lake Shinji in Matsue, Shimane, Japan
I took this video the day before I left Japan. Matsue is famous for this sunset, though I don't think we picked the best day to go. I've seen better sunsets from a distance there. Oh, well. It was still pretty.

Shinji লেক (লেক শিঞ্জি), জাপানের বিখ্যাত লেক । লেক-এর পানি সামান্য লোনা (brackish water), লেকটার সাথে সমুদ্রের একটা যোগসূত্র আছে বলে । লেকটা দেখতে খুবই সুন্দর, চোখ জুড়ানো সৌন্দর্য । লেক দেখতে সারাদিন দেশ-বিদেশের দর্শনার্থীদের ভিড় লেগেই থাকে। লেক-এ ছোট একটা দ্বীপ আছে। লেকের ধারে ঠিক এই দ্বীপ এর কাছাকাছি সূর্যাস্ত দেখার আর ছবি তোলার জন্য দর্শনার্থীরা প্রতিদিন বিকেলে ভিড় করতে থাকে। এখানকার একধরনের কালো ছোট ঝিনুক সিজিমি (Shijimi), খুব বিখ্যাত।
Lake Shinji is located on the northeastern part of Shimane Prefecture, and it is the symbol of people living in Shimane. Lake Shinji is the seventh largest lake in Japan, the length of the perimeter of Lake Shinji is about 45 km (28 miles), and it measures 16 km from east to west and 8.5 km from north to south. The dramatic scenery of sunset in Lake Shinji is known throughout Japan and the Shijimi Clams in the lake is also famous among Japan. Visitors could enjoy delicious dishes of Shijimi Clams and watching the beautiful sunset in their amazing trips in Shimane prefecture.
How to get to here (Matsue city)
By railroad
• From Okayama, by JR limited express Yakumo, about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• From Tottori, by JR limited express Oki, about 1 hours and 30 minutes.
By airplane
• From Izumo Airport, about 30 minutes by route bus.
• From Yonago Airport, about 45 minutes by route bus.

Matsue, located between the shores of Lake Shinji (Shinjiko) and Lake Nakaumi, is known as the water city. Being the capital of Shimane Prefecture, Matsue is not only the center of commerce, but has traditionally roots.
This samurai city’s places to see includes the Matsue Castle, famous for being one of the few original wooden castles still existing in Japan. The former residence of Lafcadio Hearn’s, an Irish journalist, is another popular sights. The Ohashi River divides the city into two parts. Not being a big city to explore, visitors can walk around the various sights, perhaps while enjoying wagashi, Japanese traditional sweets, which Matsue is also famous for.

2016 山陰シリーズ(4) 松江城と宍道湖の夕日(4K) Matsue Castle and Sunset At Lake Shinji In Shimane Pref.(UHD)
11月16日に松江城と宍道湖を訪問しました。松江城は山陰で唯一現存する天守閣を持ち、国宝に指定されています。また日本の百名城の一つとなっています。江戸時代に築城された比較的小さなお城ですが、なかなか雰囲気のあるお城です。
お城の直ぐ側に宍道湖があり、天守閣から眺めることができます。宍道湖の夕日は有名ですが、当日は西の空に厚い雲がかかって厳しい状況でした。しかし、日没直前に厚い雲の下から太陽が姿を現し、空を真っ赤に染めてくれました。
