Naraijuku, Shiojiri city, Nagano pref
Narai-juku (奈良井宿) was the thirty-fourth of the sixty-nine stations of the Nakasendo, as well as the second of eleven stations along the Kisoji.
It is located in the present-day city of Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

Prior to July 1983 this line (which is still officially part of the Chuo Main Line) was the route taken by trains traveling between Tokyo, Kofu and Matsumoto (and intermediate stations).
Notice the long station platforms. In July 1983 a more direct route between Shiojiri and
Okaya was opened. Video clips are taken between Tatsuno and Shiojiri on 1st December 2019

JR中央本線・篠ノ井線 塩尻駅にて(At Shiojiri Station on the JR Chuo & Shinonoi Line)
塩尻駅は東京と名古屋を結ぶ中央本線が東西に分岐する駅であり、また中央本線の旧線である辰野支線（大八廻り）が分岐する駅でもあり、さらに松本・長野方面に向かう篠ノ井線の起点駅でもあります。そんな塩尻駅にて列車の発着風景を撮影しました。
Shiojiri Station is the junction of Chuo Main Line, which connects between Tokyo and Nagoya. Shiojiri Station is also the starting point of Tatsuno Branch Line (the old Chuo Main Line). Furthermore, Here is the statring point of the Shinonoi Line, which is the mail route for Matsumoto and Nagano. I shot some trains in this station.

After a good night of sleep a ride that I totally underestimated. Lots of climbing, but good sight seeing. Btw the burning stuff you see in one picture is not the house burning but them burning straw, else I would neither have taken that picture nor put it in the video.
