Japan Trip: Engetsu Island Symbol of Nanki shirahama Wakayama05
Shirahama is a well developed hot spring(onsen) resort 100 kilometers south of Osaka. Caused of its proximity to Osaka, caused Shirahama to become one of Japan's three biggest onsen resorts, along with Atami on the Izu Peninsula and Beppu on Kyushu. Many large hotels are located around the beach so that visitors will be just a few steps from the water. Fireworks are held during summer.
Engetsu Island It is a uniquely shaped rock, located at the western coast of the city. Because of erosion, the center of island has an opening that resembles the full moon. The setting sun can be seen through the hole in the middle of the rock in the evening of some days of the year.
