Discover a Ghibli-like World at Oirase Stream
Oirase Stream flows out of Lake Towada northeast into the Pacific Ocean. There are dozens of waterfalls to be seen along the 14km-trail that follows the length of the river gorge. Discover this area of natural splendor loved by people all over Japan.
Walk from the north toward Lake Towada in the south, then rent a bike at the JR Nenokuchi Bus Station for 1,000 yen and bicycle back to the Oirase Keiryukan at the north, where you can leave the bicycle.

Road trip to Lake Towada which is inside a volcano where you must drive through Oirase Gorge and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. With huge rock formations and stellar cliffs surrounded by this bright green tropical forest containing a number of icy rapids and plunging 5 story waterfalls add to the beauty of the place, whose main center is the charming Ishigedo. The many waterfalls and rapids have been given colorful names such as: Soryu Waterfall (Two Dragon Waterfall), Tomoshiraga Waterfall (Happy Marriage Waterfall), Kudan Waterfall (Nine Stairs Waterfall), Shiraito Waterfall (White String Waterfall), Shirakinu Waterfall (White Silk Waterfall), Tamadare Waterfall (Bead Curtain Waterfall) and Shimai Waterfall (Sister Waterfall).
Of course the day we went, it rained with freezing 43 degree weather, and were not prepared for the 45 minute drive through the gorge on a barely passable 2 lane winding road with much traffic.
It was magical and absolutely stunning!!

A lake is an area of variable size filled with water, localized in a basin, that is surrounded by land, apart from any river or other outlet that serves to feed or drain the lake.[1] Lakes lie on land and are not part of the ocean (except for sea lochs in Scotland and Ireland), and therefore are distinct from lagoons, and are also larger and deeper than ponds, though there are no official or scientific definitions.[2][3] Lakes can be contrasted with rivers or streams, which are usually flowing. However most lakes are fed and drained by rivers and streams.
Natural lakes are generally found in mountainous areas, rift zones, and areas with ongoing glaciation. Other lakes are found in endorheic basins or along the courses of mature rivers. In some parts of the world there are many lakes because of chaotic drainage patterns left over from the last Ice Age. All lakes are temporary over geologic time scales, as they will slowly fill in with sediments or spill out of the basin containing them.
Many lakes are artificial and are constructed for industrial or agricultural use, for hydro-electric power generation or domestic water supply, or for aesthetic or recreational purposes.
2018 十国峠と三島スカイウオークからの富士(4K) Mt. Fuji At Jyukkoku Pass & Mishima Skywalk(UHD)
箱根の南、熱海から山側に登った伊豆半島の付根にある十国峠は、その標高766mの日金山の山頂から十国五島（伊豆・駿河・遠江・甲斐・信濃・武蔵・上総・下総・安房・相模、大島・新島・神津島・三宅島・利島]）を展望できるといわれる絶景の場所である。また、三島スカイウオークは2015年に三島市の山間に作られた観光用の吊り橋で歩行者専用の吊り橋としては大分県にある九重大橋を抜いて最長となった。富士山や駿河湾の眺望が素晴らしい。
Jyukkoku Pass is located at the south of Hakone and the mountain side of Atami hotspring. Jyukkoku means Jyu-Kok=Ten Countries.
It is said that from the top of Jyukkoku pass, ten Japanese ancient territories could be seen. That is the origin of the name.
Mishima Skywalk is a rope bridge for people's walking built in 2015.
It is a longest lope bridge in Japan for sightseeing purpose. From where we can have a very good view of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay.

2018 紫陽花の海！河口湖天上山紫陽花公園(4K) Sea Of Hydrangeas At Lake Kawaguchi Tenjoyama Hydrangea Park(UHD)
河口湖のすぐ側にある天上山の中腹ナカバ平から山裾の護国神社の間に地元のボランティアによって植えられたという約10万本の紫陽花が咲く公園があります。山肌の林の中に、紫陽花が一面に咲き乱れる景色は、正に圧巻です。ただ、斜面の上から見ても下から見ても、斜面に沿って咲く紫陽花の全貌を見る事はなかなか困難です。そこで、林の中でドローンを飛ばして、斜面の正面から咲き乱れる紫陽花の姿を撮影しました。また。ナカバ平では、紫陽花と富士の姿を撮影するこ事が出来ました。紫陽花の見頃は、７月中旬から８月上旬との事です。

雲井の滝（十和田市）
8回目は十和田市奥入瀬渓流沿いにある「銚子大滝」と「雲井の滝」です。
銚子大滝は高さより横幅があり、水量も多く見ごたえがあります。
雲井の滝は逆に落差がある滝です。ここも水量が多く見ごたえがあります。
滝の近くまで行けるので、余り濡れない程度まで近づいて迫力を楽しむのもいいかもしれません。

７月の奥入瀬渓流を歩いてきました。
焼山から子ノ口まで14ｋｍありますが、高低差がそれほどないので、楽に歩けますよ。
この時期の奥入瀬トレッキングは最高です！
