REED CORRUGATED CASES LTD, SHIRLEY BRANCH.
A second video programme of photographs taken between 1972 and 1991.
My dodgy memory and a few odd scribbles from the past have had to be relied on for names etc., so apologies for any errors.
If you wish to pass on any corrections or provide some information please use the comments section at the end of this section. I will place any corrections here.
I have now uploaded 8 Reed's Videos to YouTube but viewings and comments have been pitifully low. Apart from those ex-staff who have sadly passed away there must be others who are either apathetic, computer illiterate, in prison or in an institution. The latter being the most likely for anybody who worked at Reeds. Or they may be desperately trying to forget those years of anguish and pain. I wasn't too bothered about stirring up these memories but the photos needed a home. I declined Solihull Library's offer as they wanted to place them in the criminal misdemeanours and deviancy section. Added to which the nude calenders on the office walls would probably have contravened Article 14 of the European Court of Human Rights.
I eagerly await your comments but as I am now 72 years of age, I fear I may have passed on to that great board machine in the sky before I am inundated with your responses.

The RMS Queen Mary & The Yarrow Project: Part 2 of 2
Part 2 - This video presentation gives a short historical look into the sailing career of the great Cunard Line steamship, RMS Queen Mary and her 31 years of service from 1936-1967. When constructed, she was equipped with greatest assembly of propulsion machinery ever to go to sea... but after her retirement and rebirth as a floating hotel, museum and convention center in Long Beach, California, the history and science behind her once-impressive boilers and engines was stripped, scrapped and forgotten. The Yarrow Project is a unprecidented restoration and recreation proposal for this great ship... to cosmetically restore/recreate the boilers and machinery of two of her massive boiler rooms.

HIDDEN in this Building is a 100 YEAR OLD ABANDONED Swimming Pool
Hidden through a door at a local swimming baths is this stunning 100 year old seemingly abandoned swimming pool. The pool is part of a swimming centre which is open to the public however this particular pool remains un-renovated and decaying.

Exploring the dilapidated ruins of civilisation, abandoned buildings, creepy theme parks, military bases, and underground vaults containing the remnants of a by gone era. And with a bit of comedy and humour chucked in there too, can't be too serious about these things.
