India's Income Tax dept raids Gupta property in Saharanpur

Property belonging to the Gupta brothers, including their ancestral home, which the SABC's team visited last week, have been raided and searched by the Income Tax department of the Indian government.
The raids was conducted in their hometown of Saharanpur and started at about 10:30 AM on Monday morning. The premises where the brothers are building a 76 million dollar temple in Saharanpur was also searched. Enquiries are being made about their company Sahara.
Property belonging to their family friend- Amar Gupta- was also raided. Officials have seized several documents from these properties. The reason for the raid is unclear so far.

बिजनौर के धामपुर में पुलिस टीम पर भीड़ का हमला, जान बचाकर भागी पुलिस

उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजनौर में एक चोर को पकड़ने गई पुलिस पर भीड़ ने जमकर पथराव कर दिया जिससे कई पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए। दरअसल बिजनौर के धामपुर में पुलिस एक बाइक चोर को पकड़ने के लिये गई थी। पुलिस का कहना है कि बाइक चोर का नाम मौजू है और जब वो उसे पकड़ने के लिये उसके गांव पहुंची तो मौजू के परिवार वालों और भीड़ ने पुलिस टीम पर हमला कर दिया।पुलिस इस मामले में अपना पक्ष रख रही है वहीं मौजू के परिवार वालों का कहना है कि अगर सीसीटीवी फुटेज के आधार पर पुलिस मौजू को पकड़ने आयी है तो पुलिस सीसीटीवी फुटेज क्यों नहीं दिखा रही। मौजू के परिवार का कहना है कि पुलिस ने उनसे पैसे लिये हैं और उनके परिवार को बुरी तरह से पीटा है। पुलिस का कहना है कि वो सीसीटीवी फुटेज के आधार पर मौजू को गिरफ्तार करने पहुंची थी लेकिन मौजू के परिवार वालों ने पुलिस पर पैसा लेने की बात कही है। जहां तक घायलों की बात है तो दोनों तरफ से लोग घायल हुए हैं लेकिन इन सब आरोपों के पीछे की सच्चाई क्या है ये तो जांच के बाद ही पता चल सकेगा।
