石柱土家族自治縣位於重慶市東部、長江南岸、三峽庫區腹心，兩區一帶交融點的區位獨特，四高一鐵一港的立體交通，使得前來石柱觀光的旅客絡繹不絕。
石柱縣旅遊資源豐富，黃水國家森林公園夏季氣候涼爽，是理想的避暑勝地；千野草場是全國典型的喀斯特地質地貌大觀園，草場裡芳草青青，牛羊成群，山草相連，儼然一幅天成國畫精品；大風堡裡的古木參天蔽日。此外，土家樂園畢茲卡綠宮、高原明珠太陽湖、中國一號水杉母樹、萬壽山等均是石柱縣的招牌旅遊景點。
如今的石柱就像一匹快馬奔馳在高速發展的道路上。經濟的快速發展和基礎設施的不斷完善，讓原本山川秀麗、風景秀美、資源豐富的石柱更宜居、更溫馨。

Shizhu County, a Tujia Nationality Autonomous County, is located in the eastern city of Chongqing, south bank of Yangtze River, and the center of the Three Gorges Reservoir area. The joint point of two districts and the solid communication of four highways, one railway, and one port make the place full of tourists.
Shizhu County is also rich in tourism resources: Huangshui national forest park, a best place of summer resort, is cool in summer; Qianye grassland is a typical Karst landscape, and there are cows and sheep flocks in the green grassland, making up an excellent Chinese traditional painting; the old trees are standing tall enough to reach high up to the sky in Dafeng blockhouse. Besides, Bizika green house, Lake Taiyang, the No. 1 Metasequoia Glyptostroboides in China, and Mount Wanshou are all famous scenic spots in Shizhu County.
Nowadays, Shizhu County is developing so fast, like a racehorse running on the track. The rapid development of economy and the continuous improvement of infrastructure has made the beautiful and resource-rich Shizhu County more livable and cozier.
