Shizunai Hot Spring

二十間道路桜並木 静内の桜の名所 5月8日2017年 [ Sakura Shizunai Hokkaido]

I went to a row of 24 cherry blossoms on a quiet street.
Here is a cherry blossom row that lasts about 7 km.
When it is in full bloom, you can see the cherry blossoms are lined up in a single street so that you can see it sooner even from afar.
About 70% of the cherry blossoms in Shizunai are Ezo Yamazakura.
When you go there when there is the Cherry Blossom Festival in Shizunai, you can see cherry blossoms that are very powerful.

Cherry blossom trees here are also very popular places such as being chosen as 100 Cherry Blossom Sites and being selected as Hokkaido heritage.

I am going to visit the place called Ryunkaku in the limited period only during this cherry blossom festival so I go there once a year and think that I can enjoy more when studying the history of Shizunai.

It takes time to go from Sapporo because it is a little distance, but it is a valuable place to see cherry blossoms with considerable volume. So how about seeing it once?

On the way to quiet inside, there are hot springs, so I think that it is good to enter the hot springs and rest your body.
It is recommended because there are hot springs where you can see beautiful scenery in Niikappu Onsen in neighboring town.

静内にある二十四間道路桜並木に行ってきました。
ここは約7km も続く桜並木が見所です。
満開になれば遠くからでもすぐに分かるほど 、桜が一本道に並んでいる様子が見えます。
ここ静内の桜は7割がエゾヤマザクラとなっています。
静内の桜祭りがある頃に行くと、とても迫力がある桜が見れます。

ここの桜並木は、「さくら名所100選」に選ばれたり「北海道遺産」に選ばれたりするなどとても話題になる場所でもあります。

このさくら祭りをやっている期間のみの限定で、龍雲閣という場所の見学開放行っていますので年に一度のこの時期に行って、静内の歴史も勉強してみるとより楽しめると思います。

札幌から行くには少し距離がありますので時間がかかりますが、かなりボリュームのある桜を見れる貴重な場所ですので一度見てみるのはいかがでしょうか。

静内に行く途中には、温泉などもありますので途中で温泉に入って体を休めるのもいいと思います。
隣町の新冠温泉では、とても綺麗な景色を見れる温泉がありますのでおすすめです。
