South Coast Plaza is a regional shopping mall in Costa Mesa, California. The largest shopping center on the West Coast of the United States, its sales of over $1.5 billion annually are the highest in the United States. Its 275 retailers represent the highest concentration of design fashion retail in the U.S., with the second highest sales-volume in California at $800 per square foot ($8,600/m2)—second only to Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose-Santa Clara, at $809 per square foot ($8,710/m2). The national average is $411 per square foot ($4,420/m2). The mall is anchored by three Macy's stores, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The South Coast Plaza is the 2nd largest shopping mall in California and the 4th largest in the United States.

Several years ago a notice appeared at Promenade Temecula in California, and Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, Va. which advised shoppers that their cell phone signal would be used to track them as they move from store to store. Despite privacy assurances, that test-run produced enough outrage to force the UK maker of the technology, Path Intelligence, as well as mall management to halt the surveillance. Senator Charles Schumer was embroiled in the debate and subsequently put forth a Code of Conduct “to promote consumer privacy and responsible data use for retail location analytics.” At the time it was described as a step in the right direction, while other lawmakers still saw major privacy gaps.

Caught on camera: Pregnant beggar with boy drives off in a Mercedes-Benz
Here they are counting money, laughing.
SAN DIEGO - An outraged viewer contacted Team 10 after she watched a pregnant woman and a boy beg for money in a shopping center and then drive away in a Mercedes Benz.
Melissa Smith took pictures of the beggar, the boy and the Benz.
Smith said she saw the pregnant panhandler and the boy, who might have been the woman's son, at Eastlake Village Center every weekend for two months. She said the woman's husband or boyfriend would join them on the weekends.

Today was a good day
I got to hang out with my daughter and I worked on exposing
myself to places that normally give me crippling anxiety. The last time I was at a Mall was over 8 years ago and I left by ambulance.
It really helped to film and keep my mind off my anxiety.
I didn't talk much because I was working through my anxiety.
So today was a WIN for me and I wanted to share with you all.
