Izushi is a little town best known for their 5 plates per order style fresh Soba noodles. We made the 2 hour bus commute (round trip) to come here because Mr. Lau REALLY likes Soba. To my surprise, I also loved it! The packaged stuff we get in North America has a rough texture, the noodles there, so smooth! At the end of your meal, the restaurant gives you a generous portion of soba broth so you can mix it with your dipping sauce and finish with a soothing warm soup. What a great way to balance the cold noodles. DELISH!
During our short visit, we took some shots and videos around town, checked out a few iconic stops and visited many souvenir stores. It was a short but rewarding stop. Well worth the 2 hr bus ride. :)
As this is my first slideshow, i apologize for all the amateur mistakes ahead of time. Join us on our short stop to Castle Town!
