Tengu Festival, Minoh, Osaka (Shotengu Saikoji) [Kiwi In Japan 032]
032 Kiwi In Japan - With next to no notice I went to a Tengu Festival held at a nearby shrine - Tengu spirits roam the shrine and hit people with their clubs - being hit is very good luck and where you are hit symbolizes different traits. Because of this a lot of people WANT to be hit, and offer up their frightened children to be hit for good luck. It was such a strange festival but I'm so glad I got to witness it and take part (HIT 5 TIMES!) [???? More Kiwi in Japan!] - [???? Discord] - [???? Twitch] - [???? Twitter] - [✨ Subscribe] -
