It is said that Shri Bharat Chakravarti, the elder son of Shri Adishwar Bahgwan, has attained Moksha on this hill. His elephant also deliberately halted here till his death to attain moksha, thus the teerth is called as Shri Hastagiri Tirth.
Hastagiri Jain Tirth is a famous Gurdwara. Hastagiri Jain Tirth, is located on a hill on the bank of the Shetrunjaya.
Bhagwan Rishabh Dev is the principal deity in this tirth. Hastisengiri is another name for this hill.
The eldest son of Bhagwan Adishwar, King Bharat attained salvation from here as per the divine instruction of Acharya Vijayramachandara Suriswar Maharaj and Acharya Mahatunga Suriswar Maharaj. King Bharath observed fast into death and attained the holy adobe (Swarga). The elephant of the King also followed him.
King Bharat of Bhagwan Adishwar established this Tirth. The Foot image of Bhagwan can be seen in a small shrine in this place.
The group of the temples of Mt. Shatunjaya on one side of the hill and the sight of Mt. Kadamgiri on the other side, present are excellent sight like that of a divine city. This temple was built by highly skilled craftsmen and stone masons. The atmosphere of this place gives peace to the soul. For spiritual pursuits, this is a very beautiful place.
The temples of Hastagiri have been magnificently designed. These group of temples on Mt. Shatunjaya on one side of the hill and the sight of Mt. Kamgiri on the other side is presents a beautiful sight to the eyes. The scenic beauty that surrounds the place is very appealing. This temple had been constructed by highly skilled craftsmen and stone masons. The temple serves as an apt pilgrimage place for spiritual pursuits.

Mahudi is situated near Vijapur in Gujarat State of India. Mahudi is famous for Shri Ghantakarna Mahavir temple. Mahudi is very old Jain tirth. It is one of the important miraculous tirth place as per Jain Religion. Learned Saint Pujya Acharya ShrI Budhdhi Sagarji Maharaj Saheb did PranPratistha of Shri Ghantakarna Dev in Mahudi. Out of the 52 Vir, Shri Ghantakarna is one of them. Thousands of Jains and non Jains visit Shri Ghantakarna Mahavir temple in Mahudi everyday.
This derasar, considered to be one of the most sacred Jain pilgrimages, is situated in Mahudi, Mehsana District, and spreads over an area of 2 square kilometers. In ancient times, the place was known as Madhumati. The idols and artistic remains recovered from the ground show that the history of this place is nearly 2000 years old, based on the inscriptions in Brahmi script. Acharyadev Buddhi Sagarsurisvarji was inspired in a dream to install the idol of Ghantakarna Mahavir Dev in 1923 A.D. This idol is considered to have miraculous powers. Thousands of Jain devotees, as well as devotees from other backgrounds, come to receive blessings from this idol.

By road: Gujarat has one of the better developed road networks in India. Ahmedabad is well connected with all major cities and towns by road. Prominent bus stops are located at Gitamandir near Kalupur Railway Station and Paldi. Regular bus services are available by Gujarat state transport buses and private operators to all the major destinations of the state.
