The Goa Liberation Movement had its first meeting in 1947 in Aronda.
Many notable educators, journalists, doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs have come from the Aronda high school.
Also located in the village is a very old library named Mahatma Gandhi Valchan Mandir established on 2 October 1948.
There are still more BIG history of the small village.
The movie ‘Aronda Unfold’ - It’s a dramatic, thriller, fun, historic learning in a great way.
It’s a dream project of the movie director ‘Surendra Gundu Naik’ .
The movie is non-commercial and is dedicated to the future generation to know the history of their village [Aronda].
