Tianjin Zoo and Water Park, | China（天津动物园与水上公园）
Tianjin Zoo is located in the south of the scenic Water Park, while the Tianjin TV Tower can be seen in the north. Covering a total area of 53.77 hectares with a water area of 10.68 hectares, the zoo possesses more than 180 various species and over 1,800 animals, including the first-class national protected animals such as Giant panda, Sinerian Tiger, Golden Monkey, Golden Takin, Red-crowned Crane and the second-class national protected animals like lesser Panda, Swan, Lynx etc. There are also precious and rare animals from exotic lands, including Jaguar, lion, Asian Elephant Chimpanzee, Giraffe, Rhinoceros, Macaw and so on, the tourists can appreciate the world rare animals without going out of Tianjin.
Tianjin Water Park is located in the south of the city. Covering an area of 494 acres (200 hectares), half of which is under water, the park is one of the ten most attractive sights in Tianjin and regarded as the 'West Lake' in Northern China. Built in 1950, it comprises three lakes and nine islets.

SHUISHANG WATER PARK (Part-1)
Developed in 1951, Shuishang is the largest Water Park in Tianjin spread over 500 acres half of which is water area encircling 13 islets in 3 big lakes, beautifully decorated with arched bridges, pavilions, terraces, towers, etc. Walkways and paths are lined up with willow trees which leave mesmerizing effect on the visitors. There is a beautiful children park with many modern games alongside the largest Ferris Wheel in Tianjin. The view of CC TV Tower and other skyscrapers of Tianjin present a beautiful view for the visitors.

2011-02-03 While celebrating Chinese New Year at the kids' house, so we came up with a plan of climbing up and sliding down the snow bank in their back yard. We had fun going up and down several times and we ended up getting snow all over ourselves, inside our jacket and boots.
