Shwe Nat Taung Pagoda is a small pagoda, temple, but this view of sunset is so beautiful. If you have a time, I recommend you to go to. It takes a time for 20 mins from Mawlamyine city.
There are some good view points near this pagoda. Pa-Auk Forest Meditation Center, Win Sein Taw Ya, Reclining Big Buddha, Sitting Big Buddha.

This is my amateur video about Mrauk-U in Myanmar and how magical the sunrise is there.
Travelling in Myanmar: The leg rowers of Inle Lake
Inle Lake is a very special lake in Myanmar. The lake is known for its villages built on stilts, the floating market, the floating gardens, and the leg rowers. Our film shows it all. We visited Inle Lake in November 2012 (see our travelogue with a lot of pictures and clips at: travelbyphoto.nl ).
Around and on the Inle lake lives the Intha minority, often in villages with houses built on piles. The village best known is Ywama, built in the lake, with wooden houses on stilts and canals as streets. Parts of the village are connected with wooden bridges. There is a floating market, visited by people who arrive by boat from around the area to do some shopping.
The Intha have a very special way of rowing: the leg rowing. The rower stands on the boat stand, and rows with the oar between a hand and a leg.

Hpa-An is the Capital of Kayin State, homeland of the Karen people. The main attractions are scattered around the beautiful surroundings:
• Mt Zwegabin is the tallest of a chain of limestone mountains.
• Kyaung Kalap is pagoda and Nat shrine with a column, standing sheer out of a lake.
• Saddar Cave contains a pagoda near the entrance with many Buddha images. At the end of the cave is a hidden lake in the mountains
• Kawgun Cave has a gallery of 7th Century artwork with thousands of Buddha images.

The ancient city and array of temples at Mrauk U was once the capital of the Arakan Kingdom. It has now been abandoned to local Rakhine farmers, but it remains one of the Southeast Asia's most awe-inspiring sights.

พระใส่แว่นตาเมืองชเวดวง....ตามตำนานพระพุทธรูปองค์นี้สร้างโดยกษัตริย์ Duttabaung พระราชินีและพระราชธิดา ต้นราชวงศ์ Tharekhitaya ภายหลังพระองค์ตามองไม่เห็น โหรประจำพระองค์บอกให้สร้างแว่นตาถวายแด่พระพุทธรูปจึงเป็นที่มาของพระแว่นทองคำ หรือ Shwe Myet Man , วิหารด้านข้างมีพระมหามัยมุนีที่สร้างใหม่ แต่ด้านหลังองค์พระในซอกแคบๆ มีพระเจ้าทันใจ เป็นพระยืนองค์เล็กๆหลังพระประธาน ชาวบ้านนิยมไปขอพรแด่องค์พระ แต่ต้องอธิฐานถึง5ครั้ง เพื่อบอกให้พระได้ยิน ไม่งั้นไม่สมประสงค์
Bespectacled Buddha Image , Shwe Myet Man Pagoda , Shwedaung
It was built by King Duttabaung, founder of Tharekhitaya Dynasty, at Shwedaung, Bago Division. The king and queens Peikthano and Sanda Dewi had repaired the Shwe Nat Taung Pagoda west of Shwedaung and were having a rest when Queen Peikthano dreamt of a pagoda in the north-west. They looked for the place and found it there, marked by brilliance of the lights of the Buddha. So they built this pagoda. Soon, King Duttabaung lost his superhuman eyesights. Seers said he must offer glasses to the Buddha of the right size. Hence the glasses. In 1227, Zeya Nandameik, the Lord of Shwedaung, had the Image repaired with the glasses with gold frames. So this is the only bespectacled Buddha Image in Myanmar.

My #1 in Mrauk U!!! The labyrinths are amazing!!! This place in and of itself is worth going to Mrauk U!!! Shittaung means 'Shrine of the 80,000 images', a reference to the number of holy images inside. There are two passage ways, an interior and exterior. There are thick walls with some windows that you can see through the other side of the passage ways.
