We took a little break and went for a 6 days trip to beautiful Siau. The island is North of Manado (4 hours by ferry) and more developed than we thought it would be (but no tourists at all). We stayed at the only resort on the island, the Kalea Beach Resort and we absolutely loved it!

pulau ini terletak di kabupaten SITARO, sulawesi utara. di kabupaten ini terdapat 47 pulau, 10 pulau berpenghuni, 37 lainnya tidak termaksud didalamnya Pulau mahoro.
Untuk menuju ke pulau mahoro dari kota manado dengan kapal cepat sampai di siau sekitar 6 jam,selanjutnya dari Siau menuju pulau mahoro .

TRAVEL INDONESIA - from Lombok to North Sulawesi
Indonesia became our winter escape destination this year. We went to Lombok, took a scooter and discovered this beautiful Island next to Bali. By the end of week three rainfall got too much (every day all day long) so we took a flight to Manado in North Sulawesi and went further up to Pulau Siau and Pulau Sangihe. Places that are not very often visited by western tourists per year. Not really rainy season here - so perfect conditions for exploring these hidden treasures.
I tried to find a balance between speed ramp, dalessandri and brandon li style transitions and a good story. I edited while travelling on my macbook where the display has some issues. So color might be off a bit.

Bonus kalau pelayanan KKR di pelosok nusantara. Bisa menikmati keindahan ciptaan Allah di Bumi Pertiwi Indonesia. Setelah KKR di pulau makalehi, salah satu pulau terluar NKRI, saat menuju Pulau berikutnya untuk KKR, singgah di pulau MAHORO. Sangat indah Pulau ini, cuman sayang tidak ada Tata pengelolaan yang baik karena terumbu karang banyak yang rusak oleh jangkar Perahu. Amat disayangkan pula saya belum puas mengeksplor dengan kamera saya karena dipaksa untuk meninggalkan Pulau ini. Biaya sewa Perahu yang mahal yang saya bayar terasa sia-sia karena hanya 1 jam di Pulau ini. Gara-gara orang yang dituakan' memerintah seenaknya untuk naik ke perahu. Kesal karena tas kamera belum terbuka sama sekali. Kesal karena tidak bisa mencari Spot snorkeling yang indah lainnya.... tapi tetap bersyukur sajalah.
