Sidi Kaouki Surf Station | The Moroccan Experience
A view into my Moroccan experience...
Here I lived in a small town called Sidi Kaouki where I volunteered at the Sidi Kaouki Surf Station and made this film during my stay. This was my first time in Morocco aswell as the whole African content so I wasn't so sure what to expect.
Before coming here I had never surfed or even tried before but over the month I progressed quickly and can now ride the waves. Sidi Kaouki is the perfect place to learn for beginners and the surf station here offers cheap lessons and rentals for Surfing aswell as Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and SUP. Located a short drive away from Essaouira, Sidi Kaouki is an ideal day/weekend trip.

Sidi Kaouki, located 20km south of Essaouira on the Moroccan Atlantic Coast is a surfing beach but a short walk north takes you to an authentic fishing village. A new landing facilitÿ is being built for the fisherman but you can still witness traditional fishermen and fisherwoman going about their daily lives.

Grâce à son emplacement en bord de mer, Essaouira a pu développer plusieurs activités liées à celle-ci.
La ville étant connue pour le vent fort qui y souffle, les touristes y viennent souvent avec leur matériel pour pratiquer le surf, ou la planche à voile.
Des plages magnifiques bordent la ville et ses environs comme le village de Sidi Kaouki.
