Isabela Island is the largest island of the Galápagos with an area of 4,640 square kilometres and length of 100 kilometres almost four times larger than Santa Cruz, the second largest of the archipelago. It was named after Queen Isabella of Spain. It was originally named Albemarle after the Duke of Albemarle. The island strides the equator.

Es un extenso volcán en escudo de 1124 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar.Su cràter tiene unos 10 km de diàmetro, y la càmara magmàtica se encuentra 2km hacia abajo. Es uno de los volcanes más activos de Galápagos con la erupción histórica más reciente en octubre de 2005; esta gran erupción en Sierra Negra expulsó una nube de ceniza que alcanzó 12.800 metros de altura. Tres días más tarde, el volcán continuaba en erupción, detectándose flujos de lava durante la misma.

La agencia que utilicé, esta dando un descuento si te contactas conmigo, así que si van a viajar a Galápagos, escríbanme, no hay ningún truco solo van a pagar menos.
El segundo volcán más grande del mundo esta en ECUADOR, esta caminata dura más de dos horas, es una actividad a la que debes ir preparado con zapatos cerrados,gorra y agua, mucha agua, yo llevé dos litros y no fueron suficientes. En Isla Isabela tenemos muchas cosas para hacer, el muro de las lágrimas, los túneles de lava, el volcán Sierra Negra, hay dos partes de este video, no olviden ver la primera parte.
