This community is full of history and features Battalion Park which was a military reserve prior to World War One for the Canadian Forces. Located in the Southwest of Calgary you are a quick commute downtown or out to the mountains for a weekend getaway. West Hills and Signal Hill Shopping centres are located in the south part of this community and offer grocery shopping, a movie theatre, banks, clothing stores and restaurants.

Drive down Duckworth Street in St. John's downtown, then up to Signal Hill where the first transatlantic wireless transmission was received in 1901. Once at the top, you have a view of the great Atlantic Ocean, before turning back to see downtown St. John's from afar.
