남한강변에는 우리에게 아주 잘 알려진 사찰이 있다.
그 사찰은 남한강과 조화를 잘 이루고 있다.
그 사찰은 신륵사이다.
신륵사는 우리나라에서 유명한 사찰 중 하나다.
그 사찰이 언제 세워졌는지는 정확히 알려지지 않고 있다.
그 사찰에는 많은 불교 유물이 있다.
따라서 신륵사가 있는 장소는 여주를 상징하는 곳이다.

여주에서는 과거 이포와 조포 등에서 이렇게 황포돛배로 한양까지 물자를 보내곤 했다고 합니다.
