Silver Falls in Silver Falls Provincial Park
Quoting from...
Silver Falls Trail is one of the classic hiking trails in the Thunder Bay area and is maintained by the Thunder Bay Hiking Association. The trail follows the Kaministiquia (Kam) River past several small waterfalls up to a lookout over the river valley...
the trail then follows the river to a gorge and a set of smaller falls called Silver Falls where you will have a view of the larger Dog Falls. The trail continues to the top of the Dog Falls. This is where most people stop for a break and head back.
The video here shows the Silver Falls portion of the hike.
Sleeping Giant Provincial Park | Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
Travel Mammal coming back at ya!
Alright, here's the thing with Sleeping Giant Provincial Park - from a distance, it looks uniquely beautiful. Hiking it is an experience that will leave both exhausted and awe-inspired.
From a distance, the park looks like a man lying down on his back.
Located east of Thunder Bay, Canada, the park itself features over 100 km of hiking trails, over 200 bird species, wildlife viewing and loads of boreal forest. Not to mention spectacular views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area.
Epic! Woohooo!

Hiking Thunder Bay: Wolf River Falls
Good hour or so drive down what seems like an outback road, pretty sure my truck still has some red dirt stuck to it but such a beautiful place. Really cool experience and definitely checked that off the bucket list. Amazing what could be in your own back yard.

Current River at Trowbridge Fall Park, Thunder Bay
Trowbridge Falls Park and Campground are situated in a beautiful wooded location beside the cascading rapids of the Current River. This full service campground is only a short distance away from Boulevard Lake and Centennial Parks. Along with many hiking, skiing and biking trails, the campground and adjacent Kinsmen Park provide access to popular wading spots on the river. The campground features RV and tent sites with water and electrical services.
One spot around Thunder Bay I would recommend to visit....a photographer's dream shot of a small waterfalls.

4 Day Fall Backpacking Trip In Ontario
This was an early fall backpacking trip to Queen Elizebth Wildlans Provincial Park following the Ganaraska trail.
The Ganarsaka Hiking Trail Wildands Wilderness Section mainly runs through the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park.
We had planned on backpacking from Devil's Lake to Victoria Bridge (about 37k) , but with unseasonably warm temperatures, we decided to do a much shorter route.

Silver Falls Adventure
This is the first adventure of 2013! A group of us went hiking near Thunder Bay, ON. We climbed up some cascades and had lunch then up and over a high ridge to return to our cars. For January, the weather was amazing. -6 to -9c. and in the bright, calm sun, it felt much warmer.

Aerial footage showing the beautiful landscapes of Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario.
Radio interference caused my first drone to epically crash, bit the bullet and got myself a new one though with better features than the previous one; so happy with it so far!
I'm producing a new rock climbing guide for the Thunder Bay region and this new drone is already really helping me get the best shots I can for the book, so stoked to get it out there ;)
