Silverton, a small village 26-kilometres north-west of Broken Hill, New South Wales, was developed following the discovery of rich mineral deposits. Although the present population numbers roughly 50-permanent residents, Silverton is a popular destination for tourists. Several artists maintain the own galleries there. The iconic Silverton Hotel has featured in several motion pictures, among them The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Flying Doctors and Dirty Deeds.
In composing the music I wished to reflect to some degree the pioneering outback spirit of the village.

Town on the eastern edge of the Nullarbor famed for its windmills. There is a lot to see and we spent a few nights in the Penong Hotel a great place with great food big bed, off road parking and I will stop there again. It is a well worth a look around the town it will take a good day to see all the windmills.

haunted and very scary if u read up on the history there has been many deaths here and when you are there the feeling is horrible!! we went at night time but will go in the day for better shots because the club its situated behind was still open with cleaners inside so we had to dodge them
