Kardinia Park Stadium (GMHBA Stadium) is the home of the Geelong Cats in the Australian Football League and part time home to the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League as well as an interim home for Western United in the A-League.
Kardinia Park is set to host three T20 World Cup matches in 2020. We went for a closer look!

Waypoint - Charles Brownlow Stand Redevelopment Simonds Stadium Geelong
The Charles Brownlow Stand $91 million redevelopment is nearing completion. Demolition began late 2015. The new stand features world-class training facilities, a world-first fan portal experience, diverse membership and corporate offerings, and a new home for the Geelong Cats social club.
Waypoint have been involved in the Simonds Stadium redevelopment for 16 years; including securing $91M funding for the Brownlow Stand. Our involvement will continue in the foreseeable future through the development of the business case and funding strategy for the final stage of development.
At the completion of the Brownlow Stand project, the stadium will be able to host AFL finals and international cricket, meaning the community will no longer have to travel to Melbourne for these and other major sporting events.
