England 2018 In and Around Pateley Bridge
The last of our vacation pictures. The first few pictures are of Pateley Bridge followed by a little tour of our home away from home; Harefield Hall. Harefield Hall, reputed to be once owned by Henry the VIII and certainly the Archbishop of York. It's a wonderful place to stay operated by wonderful people. Next stop is beautiful Ripley where we spent the better part of the morning walking around the grounds of Ripley Castle. We then venture out to the village of Malham. There are a number of sights around Malham and you'll see a couple pix of Malham Cove, a rock cliff-facing. We end with Pateley Bridge and a glorious eve by the fireplace.
Background music; The first song is nice but really a bit of filler as we wanted to end this video and our fond memories with the second song:
Tara by Andy MacKay, performed by Roxy Music.
I'll See You in My Dreams by Joe Brown.
This video is purely for personal enjoyment.
Walking near Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire
A short walk, filmed slow tv style, near Pateley Bridge, in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire.
Starting by a fast flowing stream, follow the stonewalled track up to the sheep pastures on the hillside.
It's a crisp winter morning and the low sun casts long shadows across the Dale (valley). It's spectacular scenery.

Britain In Bloom Judges Given Tour of Green Park
Judges from Britain in Bloom took a tour around Reading, to rate, the towns floral offerings. From Caversham Court to Henley Road Cemetery, from The Oracle to the Forbury, from the Ridgeline Trust to the Lavender Place Community garden, the judges were given a blooming good tour of the town! We caught up with them in Green Park, and hopped aboard a golf buggy which wound its way through the parks greenery, flowers and learnt more about their eco-friendly initiatives.
Our reporter Tom St John certainly had fun, but what did the judges make of the park?

A JOURNEY THROUGH SELF-CARE || MY CONVERSATION WITH YOGINI BEX TYRER
Bex Tyrer is a yogini and yoga activist who is living her path of purpose through her love of movement. Bex and I connected to share a conversation around self-care, feminine energy, tuning into our natural rhythms and so much more. She shares her personal self-care journey and talks about why it is so important that we allow space for exploration of our monthly cycles and how they relate to the seasons of nature and our lives.
With a background in Development studies, journalism and social work, Bex's approach to yoga is one that honors the need for individual self study with the aim of improving interpersonal relations and common-unity. Bex has studied yoga since 2001, inspired by teachers such as Seane Corne, Simon Park, Govinda Jai, John Scott and Dharma Mittra.
Teaching yoga in a wide range of environments from the slums of Kolkata to the confines of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. By combing asana, meditation and pranayama, Bex provides an opportunity to explore the Spiritual through the Physical. Bex works to bring the study of yoga off the mat and into the practice of Life. Yoga is a way to focus within, and by doing so expand our awareness, bringing increased responsibility to live in alignment with the men and women we came here to be. Peace.
